Title: Greatings from Denmark! :D
Post by: Cornson on May 21, 2012, 08:31:37 AM
True out the entire day I've had this nostalgic feeling in my gut, I wasn't really sure what It was about, and every time I tried to focus on it my mind went blank, but when I was doing something else and led my mind wonder I got that feeling again over and over and I have been walking around with a huge smile on my face pretty much the whole day, and a couple of times I almost remember why I had that feeling, but every god damn time I tried to focus on it, there was nothing.

Then When I finally got home (and this is still without remember what that feeling was about) I started to watch some of the old Stargate SG1 episodes (I've been doing that for around a week now) and then suddenly it hit me like a lightning from a clear blue sky!

General Hammond is Vissor 3! and then all those awesome memories of The Animorphs just came back to me! So what I did was to surf around on the forum for a bit until I found this awesome forum! :D

*Swishes cloak and enters the room, accidentally knocking over a Ming vase.*

Who puts those things on such narrow columns?!

Anyway, hello, Cornson.

I am the mighty Cloak!  Less ego?  Oh, okay.  I am known as Cloak, Cloaky, and, rarely, Cloakster.  Be sure to register your RAFspecies in the registry in the "What is your species" thread.

first of all Lulz! and second of all, I honestly don't know who keeps cramming in all those Ming vases in those small corridors, but when I find out who it is, will give that person a severe beating!

Anyway, hello, Cornson.

Hallo to you too! :D

Okay, I will from here on out call you Cloaky!!!!  :XD:

Be sure to register your RAFspecies in the registry in the "What is your species" thread.

Umm I'll do that as soon as I find it, sorry I first posted now I was busy using the last 3 hours to figure out my Battle Morps in the "what is your Battle Morp topic"

Right -- you'll find we have a rather extensive list of RAFspecies.  For instance, I am a Realm Walker -- the only RAFian Realm Walker.

(Which is a species of my own creation.)

Hello and welcome!  I'm DinosaurNothlit, but most folks call me Dino or DN for short.  I happen to be a mixed-morph Tyrannosaurus/Ankylosaurus nothlit, hence why I'm listed as an Ankylotyrannus on the -> species index. (http://animorphsforum.com/index.php?topic=2154.0) <-

Tsk, tsk, Cloaky.  When you tell somebody about a thread, it's generally good manners to show them where it is.

I forgot to go to the thread beforehand.  And, yes, I was lazy.

And about Realm Walkers, here (http://animorphsforum.com/index.php?topic=3542.msg236484#msg236484).  I don't think any information is inaccurate there -- (there may have ben retcons).

I heard some say that Realm Walkers were overpowered, while others disagreed.

Welcome Son of Tasty Veggies!

I am Darth Revan, Revan for short (Darth is a title); aka Parker, Park, and less often Spartan.

Not to burst your Eureka moment; but Don S. Davis (Gen Hammond) wasn't Visser Three in the TV show of Animorphs. Eugene Lipinski (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0513468/) was. They do look alike though; oddly enough, I find Eugene looks a LOT more like K.A.'s hubby, Michael Grant (http://triblocal.com/gurnee/files/2012/03/michaelgrant.jpg). Coincidence?

Don't worry about it, Cornson.  I can already tell you will soon be a veteran RAFian.  Before you know it, you'll have been a RAFian four years!

Well, unless you believe Doomsday is in December 21.

Ohh okay then I'll stop worrying and I posted the info just to make sure you guy didn't worry about me (the new guy posting 70 posts in 3 days and then suddenly not logging in for 4 days!)

Well, unless you believe Doomsday is in December 21.

don't worry I don't believe in nonsense :)

Oh, neither do I (or anyone I know IRL (uh, "in real life")) and I seem to remember Blue had a $50 bet with one of his friends who does believe in the so-called Doomsday.

Ill gladly bet a million dollars that the world will not end at the 21 December, any one who knows just a very little about the Mayan calender knows that this "prophecy" is simply a fraud.

Post by: Cloak on May 24, 2012, 07:58:08 AM
The way I see it people have been predicting the end of time since prehistory, and none of them were true.  It will be same this time.  But then we'll have ANOTHER doomsday date.  ::)  I mean, first Y2K, then this.

Post by: Darth Revan on May 24, 2012, 02:52:07 PM
Oh there's always a date that'll end the world. What's funny is that just because the Mayan calender ends at a certain date; people took that to mean an omen that the world would end. How many calendars do we make a year that only go so far? Who's to say that they got to 12/21/12 and thought, "That's far enough."
Title: Re: Greatings from Denmark! :D
Post by: DinosaurNothlit on May 24, 2012, 10:48:33 PM
Heh, if anyone ever bets you money that the world will end on x date, you should take it.  Either you'll win the bet, and collect the money, or you'll lose the bet, and it won't matter because the world will have ended.  It's win-win . . . well, sorta.

By the way, though, I heard somewhere that they discovered some new evidence that the Mayan calendar actually doesn't end in 2012.  Apparently, at least according to what I've heard, the new evidence they've found says that it goes for at least another 7,000 years.

. . . Phew.

later today I will be going to a concert so I will be gone for the next 3-4 days :(

as some of you guys noticed I am already home from the concert (3 days before expected) I apparently had some kind of allergic reacting to pollen, grass or dirt (or beer) which resulted in my eyes being swollen and my eyes keeping producing tears which got so bad I barely could see anything at the end, I was over at the First Aid tent to see if they could help me and they gave me some anti histamine tablets (or something) but they in no way did make it any better they just didn't make it worse for around 2-3 hours... then I walked down to the local pharmacy and got some eye drops that I was told should be more than powerful enough to make the concert experience very comfortable again, that sadly did not happen the eyes drops barely did anything at all! So I had only 1 option left, if you can medicine against it, then get as far away from it as possible...

So here I am sitting at home still with swollen eyes, thinking about all my mates still being at the 4 days concert (2 days left) I didn't even see a single of the bands I wanted to see  :'(

That's ****ed up. Sorry man. Once, when I was a kid, my whole family (cousin's included) went to a concert and the morning of I woke up with an ear ache. Unfortunately it didn't get better over time and I sat through the whole concert in pain, crying. I don't remember anything else about the concert other than the pain and a loud drunk couple behind us.

Have your eyes gotten better since?

it it was really f'd up, and yes all my symptoms wore gone around 36 hours after I left the concert, so that's at least a good thing :)

*winces* Sorry about that, Cornson (for some reason I wanted to call you Corny right there).

Well, I kinda know what that's like -- I got conjunctivitus at BT a year ago.  (Two heat exhaustions, and coughing so hard I couldn't breathe, as well.)
