We all have them: Just what is the One? What about those aliens that maybe sent Jake to the future? What about the yeerks' substantial foothold on the Hork-Bajir homeworld?
So, what questions did Animorphs leave you with?

Where is Crayak from, and what threw him out of there?
What does the after life in Aniverse entail?
What happened to David?
Wth happened after ram the blade ship?
And what's it like to be [insert morph]?

And what's it like to be [insert morph]?
But doesn't K.A Applegate sorta try to answer that?

Yes but the fact of the matter is no 150 page paperback book could fully encompass that for any organism-she only touched only a few aspects and very shallowly.
And even for the stuff she doesn't omit, she's wrong on a couple things at least. Not all her fault, but their are some things that I'll hope to clarify in the years to come

Why did Tobi and her people stay on Earth instead of going home to help the resistance, and how was she voted into congress? What about all the families, and how they lived after the war was over? What happened to Nora and Mertyl?
There were a lot of things, since KA didn't put much effort into closure for the ending.

What questions? Thousands. Just the first ones that comes to my mind :
What about...
- Jake,Tobias, Marco and Ax, The Blade ship and the One?
- Rachel's family...mother, Jordan, Sara, and her father?
- Jake's parents?
- Erek and other Chee?
- David?
- Crayak?
- Ellimist?
- Gonrod and Estrid?
- Gafinilan and Mertil?
- Ax's parents?
- Hork-Bajir planet?
- Chapman and his family?
- Illim, Tidwell and the Yeerk Peace Movement?
And many others. Maybe, I'm too picky, but there are a lot of unresolved questions...

All good questions, I should probably mention that this is kind of market research for a fic I'm planning which, among a LOT of things, will tell you just where Crayak came from so it's great to see that I'm not the only one who wondered about that.

I think KA's idea was that if we wanted the questions answered, we could just write fanfic about it. However if I was going to write a fanfic, it would change the ending altogether. There are some things I would leave in, but it would definitely be different. Though I suppose I could think of some good changes for the entire series. Not just the final arc.

-Who "The One" is/what the heck happened to Ax.
-Where the Crayak came from.
-Did Elfangor's family ever get his hirac delest, and if they did what their reaction was.
-What Ax's/the other's reaction was to Tobias telling them Elfangor was his father.
-If the Hork'Bajir home world ever got freed.
-What happened to a lot of the minor characters.
I'm sure there's lots more I haven't thought of.

What did the Yeerks morph into? What rights did the Yeerk nothlits have? Did any Yeerks morph human? Were any Yeerks allowed to have hosts?
What happened to the Yeerks still on the Yeerk homeworld?
What happened to Alloran?
What ever happened to the Helmacrons?
