Yeah... since I'm a straight guy, I won't be voting in this thread. :P But due to popular demand, I have created a male "Do you have a crush on an Animorphs character?" thread. Enjoy. :)

I have a bit of a crush on Tobias. He sounds just like me, and he's also my favourite character. Other than that, I just like him.

Early on, Visser Three. Back before the villain decay and during Chronicles. Which probably just means I am exactly the same person I was back then. >_<;;

Goom was not talking about Jake, he was talking about the option "Other" in the poll... Nobody has voted for "Other" yet.
As for Tobias winning, it's expected given how popular he seems to be among RAFians.
But why do people like him a lot as a character? That's a question that probably deserves its own thread. :P It's a mystery to me.

And poor Jake finally gets a vote... Looks like Emohawk is in the lead, so for those who are interested, the tallies so far indicate that the most crushable characters growing up were:
Cassie
Tobias
Who knew? :P

Well, right now, Cassie is sorta tied with Rachel, so it's sorta unfair to say that Cassie's winning and not Rachel/

Though at that point you have to wonder, is it Visser Three or Alloran?
I have to admit Alloran tugs at my heartstrings a little bit. I'm always a sucker for a tragic hero, or maybe he's a tragic villian. That's the awesome thing about Animorphs, a lot of the characters its up to debate whether they are heroes of villians.

It was his immaturity that was the cause of his failed attempts. Someone like Marco is cool in reading or hearing about, but in person it's actually quite a different thing, IMO.

Meh. I would vote for Marco, but we are so much a like that it would be like voting for myself :P I think I'd have to go with Ax. I really like his honor complex. I just hope he can morph something a little more kiss-able. ;)

Well, I'm going to take the plunge and say, if I were gay or born a girl with the same personality, I would go for... wow, Tobias. No wonder he's so popular. XD But Ax came in a close second.

Well, his human morph has that covered. I mean, heck, even when the other guys narrated in the books they gushed about how hot he was. I mean, he's turning straight boys gay, how much more kissable can you get? :XD:
And I mean, think about it: He's the perfect boyfriend. Need math homework done? He can do it in two seconds. Computer crashed? No problem! Free cable/internet? Done. You can dress him how you want because he's too naieve to care either way. You can train him to behave how you want because he doesn't know how to to begin with. If you're a golddigger, he's got that covered considering he can probably sell a primitive Andalite computer program for six or seven figures. Never gotta mow again because that's how he eats. He's got the loyalty and honor thing going, and that's never bad.
And all for what? A cinnamon bun.

I had a crush on Tobias. When I first begun to read the serie I really liked Marco but when I read the first book narrated to Tobias I had a crush on him. He's a fascination character, my favourit character.
And when I saw the TV show it didn't make it better, because the Person how played Tobias did it really good. And he was absolutly cute :)

Well, for me, the show didn't make me crush him even more. Yeah, he is sorta cute, but his hair is brown. So I just got really annoyed at how his hair is brown. And yeah, Tobias is also my favourite character too ^_^

I knew he was blonde but to be honest: I always imagined him with brown hair.
And when I saw him on the show I really liked that he has brown hairs xD

Tobias always tugged at my heartstrings with just how bad he always has it, but I've never actually developed a crush on him. He's a little too down-on-himself too often for me to develop any romantic attachment. I'd have to go with Jake, he is way too underrated. For someone who carried as much weight as he did, he held up surprisingly well. He's not the funniest, and he's not the dreamiest. But I loved his silent contemplation, and even if it was never explored nor was it ever as compelling as Rachel-Tobias, I always loved his scenes with Cassie. As awesome as Marco would be to date it would burn out eventually. With Jake there's this assured stability, and realistically he would be the only male character in the entire series I could see myself staying together with long-term.
