I was reading an article on smosh.com and realized this sentence sound faimilarish
I go to the fair for fun times, not to be reminded of my sad, sad, childhood the minute I get a whiff of the fried food/cheap beer combo. Long story short…Worst. Stepfather. EVER! Come to think of it, maybe the fair isn’t the best place to go if I wanna forget those days.

Don't mention that you saw an article on the internet, and then talk about it, without giving us a link to the article to see for ourselves. We want to waste some time of our day, too!
-
k sorry
-
You still didn't give us a link to that article you found. I suppose I could do a "full text" web search to find it, but...
-
...I don't get it
-
We agree that a link would be more helpful to anybody interested in this thread, but there are kinder ways of addressing that need, Dogman.
Blazing, in all likelihood, you would find many more "Tobiases" if you lurked more on personal blogs and fora that discuss home lives. That situation isn't exactly uncommon, and it's not uncommon for kids to talk about it online.
That being said... can't say we've ever found anybody who additionally claimed to be able to turn into a hawk so he could munch some nice roadkilled raccoon, so... *shrug* :P
Even so, more than once we've read personal writings that reminded us of one or another fictional character. Way back, there was a post that could have been written by Paul Atreides from Dune... very calculated, precise language, with a humourously coincidental mention of life in the desert.

and RAF of course. but yeah, this doesn't really need its own thread.

I wasn't trying to be mean, I think I was just trying to be mildy amusing in my response. (You know, the whole "we want to waste time, too" thing?)
-
It came off a little rude. Thank you goom for posting the link
-
Wow nice you found another Tobias. After all I don't look like Tobias anymore cause I got my hair cut really short like Randy Orton's.
-
Well i've got long hair but im thick and tall-ish
-
Heh but with the way my hair grows back fast,I'll look like Tobias in about a month again.
-
how exactly do you fry a liquid?
-
Uh....what?

the article says it's fried beer. how? i don't understand!
-
Neither do I.......I once had a substitute teacher from the south who said "We would fry water if we could figure out how." Any theories on how fried beer is possible?
-
sacrificed souls of people who claimed a tobias spotting but were wrong or didn't identify where they spotted him?
-
What?
-
Has the link been put up yet? Because I'm finding it difficult to see the purpose of this thread.
-
yes it was but I will post it again right http://www.smosh.com/smosh-pit/articles/10-ridiculous-fried-foods (http://www.smosh.com/smosh-pit/articles/10-ridiculous-fried-foods)
-
i thought it made sense - you asked for a theory on how fried beer is possible, and i said... oh, i think i should have put by using sacrificed souls of people who claimed a tobias spotting but were wrong or didn't identify where they spotted him
-
har har
-
ya whatever. i know i'm not very funny. i'm told my stupidity can be entertaining on rare occasions
-
that sounds a whole lot like Americas Funniest home Videos
-
Uh yeah....I think you all might want to stay on topic...just saying.
-
Im not sure what else can really be said on this topic though.....
-
yeah, there really isn't much of a topic to stay on. locking.
