That was again another valid question that morfowt asked. The thread title specifically says "Rank ALL the Animorph books". If you're gonna be that anal, you should've said "Rank all the regular NUMBERED Animorph books". Quit picking on morfowt.

Why does everyone hate the Buffahuman book? I liked that one alot.
It was one of the weirder books. Especially since the thing turned into Chapman. Of all people.
I don't really care to rate all the books. That would be quite difficult. Especially since a reread of a lot of them would be in order, to remember some of them.

Haha I re-read that one the other day and liked it more than I did the first time. Not one of my favorites but it's not all that bad.

To be honest, I'll side with Yorick here. There was no reason to ask the question in the first place, though it was perfectly fine to do so. Simply choosing whether to list the extra books or not would have sufficed without hurting the topic, and Yorick's original response to him wasn't offensive in any way, if a bit sarcastic even. I don't think he was being a jerk at all until people called him out; I honestly would have gotten upset too.
Now, I wouldn't have said morfowt was being an 'idiot,' but he did ask for an answer to a question, so he was inviting the response.
Anyway, back on topic:
The buffahuman book was just kind of random and pointless, like a lot of books in that epoch of the series. Personally, I don't rate it low because I hate it, but because it just isn't important or interesting in the grand scheme of the series. Plus its plot involves the presence of Helmacron technology, which means it was definitely intended as filler in the first place.

I disagree about #39 being similar Megamorphs #1 although I get what you mean. The main difference for me is that I much preferred Megamorphs #1 to #39. I found the Buffahuman idea to be interesting, but in a slightly creepy way. Also, the Ant-Cassie seemed a bit unrealistic, even for Animorphs.
