Hello everyone,
I'm a new member of this forum. Please forgive me for my English but I'm Italian and I can't speak it very well
I'm very happy to have discovered this forum, because in Italy I don't know a single reader of Animorphs books! In our county the series had a very little success and some books have never been published (Megamorphs, Chronicles and also the last two books of normal series!).
I hope I can discuss of this wonderful books with you and maybe even improve my English
-
Your english is quite legible, you're fine! :)
Welcome to RAF! I'm Rukh. Your resident shape-shifting mythical bird.
:bow3:
Can't wait to see you around the forum.
-
Welcome to RAF! :D I'm Steph. Nice to meet you!
-
Hey there! I'm Ash, welcome to the forum :) I'd go on, but I expect you'll be visited by quite a few 'introducers' and get all the information you need soon enough.
Enjoy your stay :)
-
<Don't worry, your English is better than most native English speakers that reside within the internets. :) Anyway, I'm DinosaurNothlit, RAF's resident Tyrannosaur/Ankylosaur mixed-morph nothlit. Long story there. Most people call me Dino or DN, although a few have recently started calling me Tobey. I haven't the faintest idea why.>
<Just so you know, we're all a bit crazy here. You will be expected to hand over your sanity to the talking seal, whenever she gets here, if you wish to stay.>
-
Welcome from one newbie to anther! Yes, seal ( or one of her siblings, but most likely her) will come. Then either bear or damg will be here to show you around ( they have a race to see who can post a really long post first on new member threads). Anyway, welcome! :logo: :controller: :
-
*runs into room and barely avoids running into a wall* Well hey-lo, Alan! Nice to meet you. I'm Mythgirl, RAF's resident sugar-happy dryad, but you can call me Myth. Please deposit any sugar and/or shiny objects you have in this bin here. *points to bin*
Well, as you may have noticed, RAF is a very welcoming place (and even more insane!). I hope you like it here, because once you come here, you can never leave.
It's been nice to meet you. I hope to see you around the forum some time!
*trips into wall while standing completely still* Okay, seriously?!
-
Welcome! I'm Gaz, it's nice to meet you.
-
*runs into room and barely avoids running into a wall*
*trips into wall while standing completely still* Okay, seriously?!
<Wow myth...it's a good thing I'm not just a Shapeshifting Mytholornid! I'm a Shapeshifting Mytholornid PROFESSOR!>
*whips up strange thing in the corner*
<BEHOOOOLD! The Universal Automatic Replicating Stilt! All you have to do is strap this belt on! The sensors will detect when you are about to run into a wall, and will replicate a stick to stop you from hitting the wall!> *hands her belt*
*turns to Alan, pointing thumb at myth* <RAFians...>
-
Um...okay...*straps on belt* Let's test it! *runs at nearest wall**stick appears**still manages to run into wall* Sorry, Rukh. It would work, but my mad skills are confusing it. I can type my name with my elbows, stab myself in the foot with bobby pins, and run into walls while wearing equipment to keep me from running into walls...mad skills, am I right?
-
:o
But...but my inventions never fail!
*Walks off to corner... :'(*
Well ok...sorry I couldn't help Myth...
-
Aw, it's okay. It's just that my super-klutzy skills allowed me to run into a wall when nobody else could. Your invention would work on anybody else, I'm sure.
-
Um. Ignore the crazies.
Welcome to RAF, we're glad to have you. I'm Jess. :)
-
welcome to the forum. you'd better not be a plumber, though. :goom:
-

Now I have to go, I don't invite you for the meal, sorry. *Beginning to go down dark stairs. Alan can hear a cry coming from the cave.*
Have fun!
*Dameg disappears into the darkness, Alan is now alone in the hallway*

Welcome to the Forum buddy! RAF is over all an awesome place, hope you enjoy the time you spend here and meet lots of interesting people. Bona Fortuna!
-
Thank you for welcome, and a special thank to Dameg for the explanations. Wow, there are a lot of interesting project....the body count! I tried to do something similar years ago but then I gave up.
And the translation project is a very god idea....I need a transalation of books 53 and 54 never published in Italy....maybe I could make a contribution to translate this books in Italian? Well, I'm not very good at expressing myself in English, but I easily understand a written text.
Are the eBooks of #53 The Answer and #54 The Beginning available somewhere? Just to read them?
-
Well, we used to have the audio books On-site, but thanks to scholastic *grumbles about greedy book publishers* we had to take them down.
-
Hey, Alan, and welcome to RAF! I'm Marie. Pleased to meet you!
-
Greetings and welcome to RAF!!! Just a word of warning though, the entrance to RAF is a bit of a one way road for many of us here, now that we're here, we love it too much to leave! I hope have just as great a time here as we do :D
-
Hey, Alan ^_^ Welcome to RAF. Firstly: Animorphs is amazing, and I look forward to discussing it with you. Secondly, your English is actually pretty excellent (a lot better than my Italian, I'll tell you that :P), and RAF has a lot of really good English speakers (compared to most of the interwebs), so it's a great place to make any improvements to your English that you think you need :)
Wow. That was rambly. Anyway, welcome to RAF ^_^ Spend some time hanging out and exploring the boards. There are a lot of amazing people here, and a lot of great discussions to join. You'll love it, I know it.
