And the site has been given a major update! I'm just glad I can still access this page: http://www.scholastic.com/animorphs/games/pix.htm (http://www.scholastic.com/animorphs/games/pix.htm) (for all those covers and David's artwork).
Remember what the site was like back in the day? If you look through the Hirac Delest or Internet Wayback Machine archives (or ads in the original prints of the books), you can see that the site used to host lots of live activities and stuff, like the "Sanctuary". As the series neared its end, there was an ongoing "live" integration with the books, but I forget too many details to describe it. Check Hirac Delest for details.
Use this thread to discuss any and all changes to the site from now on, and discuss changes/additions you think Scholastic may make in the future!

They remade the "Which Animorphs are you?" quiz, using many of the same (if not the exact same) questions as before.

And the new quiz doesn't have a URL, just a popup Flash-based window. But also new is a personal profile you can have on the site, which uses a username and password, I assume... I haven't tried that yet. The profile saves your result of the "character quiz".
EDIT: I got "Tobias" as my character result on that quiz. The new one, I mean. It's been a while since I've done the old quiz, but they're practically the exact same questions as the old one.

The new quiz is misleading. It's named "which morph are you" or something along those lines so I thought it would tell us what animal we were. Not just a redo of the old quiz. Also, I got Tobias this time :-\ ...excuse me while I find a corner to sulk in

The profile thing you can make is a general all-Scholastic.com account - it isn't unique to just Animorphs.
Thus, I'm not bothering to make one. Not right now, anyway.

"which morph are you" should probably be either 'animorph' or 'morpher'.

Goom, I'm not deliberately trying to doublepost. I know that the forum automatically merges sequential posts like that, and it's quicker and easier than modifying my past posts (though I can still do that). It's just that I have so much to say, and I'm wanting to say it faster than other people can post after me.

The old site is slowly deteriorating!
I can no longer access most of the old pages, including the games page, which had the photo gallery! And there's no more Anibase (that great downloadable desktop thing with all the trivia and info).

Why would you CARE if they are slowly phasing the old site out? No offense, but the old site sucked.

There are still some parts of it that are valuable. The photo gallery (which has been pretty much mirrored on Hirac Delest), the Anibase (which is still available and is also archived (I think) on the IWM), and the sample book chapters (I haven't tested whether these are gone or not).
That being said, I wonder what other kinds of new and better things they'll get to replace these? Maybe updated versions of a photo gallery (see all of the new cover art in one place, maybe new artwork of Andalites, Hork-Bajir, Yeerks, and other alien species that were never officially depicted), a new Anibase with new trivia on the creation of and stories behind the lenticular editions, and new samples of different chapters.

the new tobias is at least dirty blond now isn't he??? But i didn't like the new models(no offense to anyone) jake is too suspicious, Marco's too...different, cassie looks too good to be her and rachel looks not good enough, tobias is ok...sorta...ish... yeah...
i'm most like tobias(again) and the quiz is sorta stupid, like does having a cat or whatever have to do with you personality? i want i cat but i can't get one...it has nothing to do with personality. and the name for the quiz is sorta misleading

his hair looks slightly redder than just dirty blonde. i liked the tobias model from the late-ish books.
honestly, they probably made 50% of the quizzes turn out 'tobias' to make fans happy :P

Okay, to chime in on Jake's hair, my brother has the exact same hair-type. It looks dirty-blonde but as it grows out, it becomes more and more brown. You can see it in the roots of the model.
