Hi, I first joined this forum in 2009, but I've forgotten the password, so I had to create a new account. I created a thread about an Animorph petition, I remember being told that there was going to be a new Animorphs book. So I was wondering, is there going to be a new Animorphs book coming out at any time?
Thanks.

If you forget your password, there should be a link to get them to resend it to your email account.
They're planning to rerelease the series with new covers some time next year, I think.

Thanks.

But is there going to be a 55th book made?

If the rerelease is successful, there may be an Animorphs 2.0. What that will be I don't know. I don't know the answer to your question.

Actually The Invasion and The Visitor are going to be released May 1st of this year (2011), so in a couple of months! The next books will come out in bi-monthly intervals (The Encounter will be out July 1st, etc.)
Welcome back to RAF! You can certainly try to retrieve your old password by having it sent to your e-mail as Chad suggested.

Thanks but I don't want to know if there will be re-releases, I want to know if there will be a book that continues from the last book.
-
Only if this new re-release is successful, and even then it's not a definite.
-
It's a possibility is really all we know. From what I understand, that idea hasn't been shot down by anyone at Scholastic, but neither has it been confirmed. We can guess, we can hope (for or against it, as the case may be...), but we can't know. Not yet.

Against it? Are people worried it would suck? Well there have been good and bad books made by both KA and ghostwriters. So it's kind of a crapshoot.
-
I really don't mind it being a crapshoot. I would like to see how they handled the culture references and whatnot. As long Marco doesn't say "Yo" or some kind of slang that makes us want to *facepalm*

Since the question of the thread has been answered, I don't see any point leaving this thread open.
