Now, I've known about Xena way before I read Animorphs in 2001, and when I first got into the series I was pleasantly surprised that K.A. gave a shout-out to the show. But did anyone else get into Xena simply because it was mentioned in Animorphs? I'm just curious. In fact, how many people on here got into something because Animorphs referenced it?

Xena and Hercules were shows I watched when there was nothing better to do. Much like Andromeda oddly enough, but I digress.

Well, I never watched SpongeBob until I read about it in the book with Mertil where Marco narrates (forgot the title - I don't have it anymore...), and at first I was really confused, I thought what the HELL is a SPONGE-BOB? Then I learned it was a show, and watched it because the Animorphs had referenced it, and whaddya know - I liked it! ;D

I kinda watched Zena and hercules a little before the animorphs mentioned it, I got alot more stoked aboout the show afterwards.

I got into Xena just because I was big into Hercules. I don't know if I ever got into something just because it was mentioned in Animorphs.

This. But I liked Andromeda a lot. Or at least more than I'd be willing to admit not over the Internet. I watched Xena before I knew about Animorphs because my mom watched it, and actually my friend and I would 'play it'. She'd be Xena, I'd be Gabrielle. Excellently enough, when we got older and I became obsessed with Animorphs, I convinced everyone in my little group to play it instead, and my friend who played Xena was always Rachel. Mostly because she was the only blonde.

i've know cinnabon,mcdonals,tacobell(they mentioned it right?)and burger king um...gap,i've never heard of Xena,NIN,and some other shows till i read the book... yeah...

yeah taco bell was mentioned ax and Tobias found some money then ax got a cinamon bun and tobias got some taco bell.

I watched it once. Because nothing was on and I was flipping through the channels and saw it and thought of Animorphs. :P Other than that it didn't really interest me.
