I don't usually make music videos, but I had to in this case because of how well this song fits Animorphs. This was inspired by morbidmuch's Angel video. Enjoy!

I liked it, and I don't even like the TV show!
-
Well then, I'd consider that a job well done! Thank you. :P
The biggest draw for Animorphs has always first been about the silent Yeerk War to me, and of the characters and relationships in the series. All that other sci-fi stuff with morphing and space battles, even in the books, was not very interesting to me, which is why I tried to focus most of the video here on the lives that the Animorphs had to live day-to-day for three years. I did my best to try and translate this here. :)
-
I've already said this on MSN but your video ROCKS

I liked it, and I don't even like the TV show!
ditto!
-
How cool is this guys. I posted my video on Facebook, and K.A and Michael both saw it and left a response! :o ;D

Awesome video, Truth.
And that's really cool.

wait that was nice is neat?
-
LOL, yup JRT, that it was :P

Grrr....&%$@!! I got this email today from youtube:
A copyright owner has claimed it owns some or all of the audio content in your video Animorphs Tribute - "Everyday is exactly the same". The audio content identified in your video is Every Day Is Exactly The Same by Nine Inch Nails. We regret to inform you that your video has been blocked from playback due to a music rights issue.
Seriously? I mean, seriously? What, out of the billions of music videos on youtube, you have to go after mine?! It had maybe a little over 500 views. That's it.
This is bull****. I'm so frakkin pissed! I worked hard on that video. Everything from the song to the clips were ripped, converted, and cut directly by me from the original source material that I paid for. It was all built up from scratch, and I can't believe they won't let me share my tribute with other Animorph fans now just cause some exec couldn't handle me using that song. Ugh. >:(
-
Post it on metacafe or something, please!
This looks really cool.
-
Metacafe? Never heard of it. Are there any other good video streaming places online that aren't as strict?
At the moment, the video above still seems to be working, so the embed code hasn't been disabled by Youtube yet. :-\
-
That sucks Truth, I've had that happen to me before.
Maybe you could try megavideo?
-
Aw, that's too bad it got taken down. I've never understood the big deal over that kind of thing, it's like free promotion for NIN in a way after all.
-
damn, taken down.
which song was playing?
-
"Everyday is exactly the same" by the Nine-Inch-Nails.
You can still see it up above, in the first post because it doesn't look like they've completely erased the video -- just taken down the page for it for now.
I'll probably look into re-uploading it elsewhere once my exams are done.
-
I've added in an alternate Live Video (http://www.livevideo.com/video/C42D810877BD483F8C3DA8BDC5575C44/animorphs-tribute-everyday-i.aspx) link for my first video in the first post, and added in my other two videos as well in case anyone here missed them.
-
This is not related to Animorphs, but I thought I'd share anyways. I've been working with a local TV show for the past few months (just behind the scenes stuff), and I was put in charge of making the website for them and making the intro video that would show up in the start of every episode.
The website was launched this morning at http://www.comicbookstoreseries.com
Also, here is the intro that I animated / edited for the TV series:

The show is set to be premiered this Fall. :)
-
Your Animorphs videos are awesome!
I'm sorry for you... I don't understand why NIN did that, because as Liz said: "it's free promotion for them"!
I used a song of Lordi and a song of The Beatles for mines and they didn't say anything, as for 90% of the AMV...
-
Thanks Dameg!
Yeah, it was a dumb move on their part, but whatever. No sense to keep on complaining about it. I've uploaded it to Facebook and to Live Video (link posted above, and in the original post) in case you didn't get to see it. :)
-
Just a quick update, it seems as if youtube has put my original video back up. I have no idea why, I never disputed it or anything. I'm guessing it has to do with the new layout changes because you can now see it in my profile and when you search for it. :D
-
when it comes to youtube taking down videos, it has nothing to do with you. THEY are the ones that get sued for copyright infringement because they are the ones that make money. now, they have to keep the user experience easy, so their policy is you upload whatever you want, but if any copyright holders complain, even if its not legitimate, they take it down.
awesome vids btw.
