Anyone on here ever watched DBZ? Well then you'll know that the Saiyans would make the PERFECT host. They're strong, fast, can destroy an ENTIRE PLANET with little effort, and can create energy blasts. It might be hard MAKING one a Controller, but once they are the Yeerks have won.
Thoughts?

Nameks have the Dragonballs, though. The Yeerks can WISH for more host bodies, or even the ability to morph.

How about Roshi? OMG Maximum Funniness Potential to see Controller Roshi.... and the ability to sense KI, DOUBLE ki in a lifeform (an infested host), would be SUPREMELY useful.
I've thought about writing a fic where the Animorphs acquire Gohan, who has come to the DBZ universe. SUPER SAIYAN ANIMORPHS, now THAT'S epic awesomeness... plus they could EASILY find out who Controllers are, start liberating them, but would Rachel have an easy time controlling the Saiyan instincts... or not?

I dunno about a fic for all of this, but it could be interesting. As for Yeerks infesting Saiyans, yup - the Andalites and Earth both would have been pretty much screwed. :P

Yes. One Saiyan coud hold the entire Andalite home world hostage.

Yeah, but bringing dangerous characters in from another canon is inherently a little crazy. I've done a variation of this myself, though the universe is original. And the primary canon is what would happen if somebody crossed Judeo-Christian elements with more polytheistic religions and ran away cackling.
In short...yes the Yeerks infesting the Saiyans would prove seriously problematic for everybody involved. In fact, really the only way the Animorphs could counter that would be to develop similar powers themselves through constant martial arts training. But it also creates weird canon-meshing issues that usually only come up in the Bar. :P So at least avoid making fanfics like that public.

Let's just be glad that the Yeerks aren't in the same universe as those Sayians... Or else the Animorphs series would be pretty short. ::)

Yeah, I'm sure the Emperor would want the strongest body (SSJ3/4 Goku) but Visser Three could just morph him too. Omg THERE'S a scary thought... on the other hand, fusion would a LOT easier... but who would it MAKE? Goku and Goku morph fused equals... what? :huh:

I'm not a big fan of any crossovers unless they are done extremely well (and they basically never are in my opinion). Safe to say we'd be screwed if the Yeerks got hold of Saiyan hosts though.

I suggest making a Controller of Superman, who is faster than a bullet, stronger than a locomotive, and can leap high buildings. He is also invulnerable to everything except Kryptonite.
