Title: Caracter Similarities

In The Andalite Chronicles and later Hork Bajir Chronicles did any of the main characters appear to be cross overs from the main story line?

This may not be related to the Thread, but What of the similarity between the Andalites and the Garatrons... That's just astounding!!

the garatrons seems like a more faster version of an Andalite.

Another similarity in the series is Tobias' comparison between his 'love' Rachel and his torturer, Taylor. Even on the inside cover for The Test, I used to think that the model was her.
I couldn't help thinking that he kept getting confused with something more in the similarities between the two.
