Good day everyone.
This is my first post on the forum. It's good to be able to talk to other Animorphs fans. I caught the book series at the tail end of 1995. I saw the books around. I got tired and nabbed one in early 1996 from Wal-Mart. It was Animorphs #2 The Visitor. I think that is as far as the series had gone when I started. I quickly got #1 The Invasion afterwords. I was hooked. From there I bugged the bookstore for information when the next book would be released. I always looked forward to the next book. I expected there would be a television series. While it was okay, I wish they did a better job sticking to the story. Games came and I played most of them, but most were based more on the tv show, as far a character design. It was disappointing. I like most of the books that were released, and was disappointed with the way the series ended. I never expected a re-release, or even a 2.0. A continuation featuring the fight against The One? I had not been expecting it and It will be interesting to see the changes that the re-release classics will bring, as well as the new series if it happens.
To the matter at hand, This was bound to happen. Re-release or not. I own all the books still. All 54, plus all the special books, and some that were re-bought because some of my originals were falling apart. The E-books were good when I was bored and I could just pull the book up on the computer and read awhile. But, overall I like holding the physical product in my hand.
I'm hoping this is where I need to be to get the updates on the re-release, the main reason for joining RAF, along with chatting with other Animorphs fans. I'm sad the e-books are gone but I had a feeling that it was bound to happen. Same thing may happen with the TV show. I hope it won't happen for awhile, but who knows?
Anyway, it's great to be able to post here and meet you all, and I hope to post here for a long time to come.

Anyway, I highly advise just spending some time trawling the forum. There's a lot to see here; it's not limited to just Animorphs awesomeness ;D
