The series is definitely my first!
-
Yes. I was into Goosebumps and Fear Street by R. L. Stine before Animorphs, and quit reading them because I liked Animorphs better. I also read some of Everworld, but I liked Animorphs better than that too. I think those are the only book series I was ever into.

lol surprisingly uneven poll results...
Animorphs was my favorite growing up and then I thought Harry Potter was my new favorite but I didn't really like how it ended so I went back to animorphs and reaffirmed that it has been my true favorite all along.

I almost always hear it the other way around about the endings. XD
But yes. Animorphs = All time favorite series. The rest of my favorites kind of get lumped together.
-
Yup, hands down, all time fave. ;D

No way, the animorphs ending was badass, Potter's was weak

Honestly, I absolutely love Animorphs, but I can't say it's my all time favourite, I loved HP, and Charlie Bone, too. So I'd say Animorphs is about my thirdish. :P And can't forget anything by SK. Lol.
-
It's my favorite but I could see someone still loving it and having it as their 5th favorite... Maybe I just read too much.
-
That's a tough question. I read a lot, and I have a lot of favorites. I think it may be my favorite series, along with the Roman Mysteries and the Five Ancestors. Animorphs certainly means a lot to me.
-
I don't know if I could say it's my absolute favourite right now as I've read so many good books and simply can't choose. It was definitely my top favourite when I was a kid, though.
-
As a kid, there were three series I read, Animorphs, Famous Five, and Goosebumps. The top 2 are Animorphs and Famous Five though, I read the whole series.
-
It's also my favorite, as Anne Rice's novels aren't really series...
-
I actually liked another series more...
Twilight. ;)
But in all seriousness, I do like another series more now that I've grown.
-
I think Animorphs makes #1 for me. Maximum Ride is a pretty close second, though. Hunger Games is also a darn good series.
-
Dare I say it?
I think I like harry potter better...
-
For books, Animorphs is my favorite series. There are a few tv shows, comics and video games that rank up there with it, though. Metalocalypse, JTHM, and Morrowind respectively.
LOTR comes a close second, with HP a third, even though I hated the last book. I don't count things like Goosebumps to be a "series", since they are modular and don't have a continuing story line.
-
nah it's beaten by a lot of series actually, but it was my first series and it was really great. It definitely holds a special place for me.
-
Enki you have a good point. While it sold as a series, it was more like getting a Stephen King book that's a collection of short stories, versus say, the Dark Tower.
-
I don't read that many other series, so I guess it is my favorite!
I would say HP was a close second, except that I hated the ending like everyone else, haha. And I really liked Death Note, but idk if that counts...
-
Animorphs has always been my favorite. Warriors makes a close second since the series is about cats, followed by Percy Jackson.
-
hmm...IDK I voted it's my second but now I think I love it just as much as I do Harry Potter.

Except me. I enjoyed that entire book, epilouge included

I never really followed the HP stories closely. I just watched two or three movies. It seemed to me like a good series to have a happy ending, because it looked like it had a fairly light tone.
