http://www.playr.org/play/animorphs/643#play
I used to play this game all the time before I lost it.(the cartridge) Now I can finally beat it, hooray! Does anyone else remember this game?
-
I never played it on GBC, but I did try this online version a few weeks ago. I gave up when I failed to acquire the snake at the beginning (I acquired another animal instead) and then I couldn't find it anymore when I found out it was required.
-
I've heard of the gbc game, but this is the first I've heard of the flash game. I'll check it out. I'll make sure to get the snake.
-
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i didn't have a game boy, this the one I never got to play
trying
-
Not sure if I care for it too much. The music is bad, and it's a pokemon knockoff. Though maybe I'm just a tad sour because a battle went very wrong. Could be that.
-
Isn't this the game you can't save without a ridiculous code? I played half an hour of it before I had to do something else and then came back to find out my code didn't work.
-
I haven't tried to type in a code yet, but they give you a 16 digit code.
-
Yeah, 16. Don't you think that's kinda overkill? 4-6 digits would be enough ::)
-
Well it's not the only game that has that problem. I'm not sure what the deal is with games having long passwords. I guess they want to make it really hard to figure the password out on your own. No one is going to find a password on their own that includes upper and lowercase letters plus things like < and !. Not to mention numbers too.
-
Isn't it because they didn't have a basic save function?
-
Now that I think of it, yeah. I remember as a kid writing down long ass passwords for genesis games on a dedicated notes. Or was it cheats?
-
most genesis games had a save feature, but a few, like pugsy used codes. kid chameleon, a game of over 100 levels, had neither.
-
yeah, so I aquired a bunch of stuff and won some fights, but I couldn't find the pet shop or whatever, and then this one Hork-bajir cornered me and killed me, and I didn't keep the stupid password.
Not great, but I'll probably go through it some time, just to say that I have
-
The pet shop is in the mall, and there's a sign saying which building is the mall.
-
The PC game is so much better. Not that the PC game is good, mind you...although how awesome is it to have Marco go into battle against Visser Three as a llama?
-
::) it's a llama, that makes it not awesome by default
:o In the mall, I tried going in there stupid thing wouldn't let me. Oh, well, later
Edit: crap this game is hard.
I always feel bad when I keep dying in a game that's nearly ten years old and made for kids :P
-
Played it for a while, music gave me a headache, didn't know what to do after I got the snake, turned the game off, may never play again :P
-
1.5 years later
sorry for the necromancy but:
I retract my previous statement of COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I beat it, I did. In 4 sessions over 4 days with a walkthrough in the next window.
No predictability, no way to strategize, an easy win in one fight, you get slaughtered in the same fight if you have to repeat
passwords take 2 minutes to put in and it keep saying I had the wrong ones. I'd triple check, it still said no. *** you!
Con's: the above and "taming" animals got annoying, and still not really an Animorphs still plot
Pro's:probably most in line with story of the video games (I know, I just said not an Animorphs plot, what does that tell you), lots of morphs
I have now completed all the animorphs video games.
This one I will not being doing again any time soon
