I figured I'd introduce myself.
I've read Animorphs all my life and I've been reading this forum for a while so I decided to join it. The talk of a movie got me excited. :)
There were a lot of things I liked as a kid but I always keep coming back to Animorphs. I get a little bit more time to myself over the summer and I always re-read the series.

'Ello. Welcome to RAF, the best forum on the internet. :P I really hope you have a good time here. All of the members are friendly, and, once you get to know us, we don't seem nearly as crazy as we probably do in the beginning.
Well, anyway, see you around! :)

welcom to richard's animorphs forum or RAF forum or just RAF for short. my name (or at least username) is morfowt. it comes from morph out. i combined it into one word and then changed some letters so that it still sounds the same. I'm fairly young. and got into animorphs a few years after it finished, but enough about me. what about you?
would you like to join the animorphs audiobook project?
I'm sure you can see we have many boards and threads to talk in. most famous right now is the bored board, mostly filled with forum games. We also have forums to talk about all the books written by K.A. and her husband (Michael, I think it was).
I'm sure you'll make friends here, as we are all very friendly. We hope you enjoy your time here, and have a nice day.
did that sound too weird or too long?
-
No, it wasn't too weird. :)
What's the audio project? I downloaded the e-books for the only books I never bought - Visser and #53 - so I'm familiar with those.
-
The Audiobook project is just different members have parts and record lines from the books...Then they become audiobooks...That's an extremely vague description though...
Welcome to RAF, btw. I'm Ken.

Do I need any sort of equipment?
I'd love to help, but there are a lot less female roles than male ones.
-
don't worry. I made a cast list. any roles taken are there. and any roles that haven't been taken, well some are up there. there're definetly some female ones. I don't think anyone's got estrid yet.
yeah. you need a mic and a recoring system. I'd recommend audacity.

I don't have a mic, but can't I download Audacity?
I'd love to be Estrid.
-
of course you can download audacity. I downloaded it...I'm not sure where you can find it. try searching up on google.
-
Alright, I can make that happen.
Do you know any good - well, more like practical - mics I could purchase?
-
ask that in...go to audibooks board located inside RAF projects and ask that in the recording help thread...
-
Welcome to the insanity! I am Estelore, but you may call me Es or Este.
Hey, waitaminute! Now there are 3 Es's on RAF! Estelore, Estrid, and EscafilDefice!
-
yeah, and strangely they're all female...
-
haha...Good point.
