How did Visser One get Eva's body. She doesn't seem like the kind of person to join the sharing.
-
she chooses her, it doesnt say how
-
In one of Marco's books (I think 10 or 35, I'm not sure) it talks about Eva warning Marco's dad about avoiding the military.
So I'm guessing she was involved in the military in some way, probably not a solider, but someone at least somewhat important.
Or she's just warning about something the yeerk was planning at the time and Eva was totally random, one of the two
-
i think she was warning marco's dad not to join the military cuz she knew of the plans from her yeerk, not cuz she was actually ever a part of the military. but ya, i wish they woulda said how eva got infested
-

I agree with this. I think it says she chose some random Human that didn't have to do with the twins or something. Since the Sharing was already in operation, she might have just had someone from there get Eva. Like how in the series some people are brought to the Sharing to be quickly infested.

Yes, it was #10.

Marco's dad was really smart, she probably didn't want him designing equiptment for the military because she the Yeerks would be all over that.

Hmm... I halfway agree with you. True, Marco's dad is really smart. But I don't think that was the reason Eva warned him. Eva loved Marco's dad (does the guy have a name?). And she didn't want him to endure the suffering she was enduring now.
-
I believe his name is Peter, but I'm not sure.
-
Oh... its just that, calling him "Marco's dad" feels kinda weird.... ;D
-
ya, i think it was peter too
-
lol.
-
Random Question: How old would Marco have been when Eva left for dead?!?
-
He was eleven, or thereabouts. In book #5 he's 13 and its his mom's 2-year anniversary of her death.
-
She probably captured eva because of her connections or maybe eva was just a convient host. Or eva stubbled onto something and they had to capture her and Visser one was curious. It mentions in Visser that she was fascinated by humans.
-
ya they really shoulda said y in visser. i mean in book#6 u find out y tom was made a controller, so in visser u shoulda found out y eva. u found out y all the other hosts, but not eva. annoying
-
Man, I really wished there was more explanation to these things all the fans ask about the Vissers in the Visser Chronicles. The story was great, and the Animorphs cameo at the end was gold too, but we are none the wiser about somethings.
-
ya, personally i think the visser chronicles was poorly written. the pt was to find out bout visser 1, yet ur still none the wiser on how she got eva, which ended up being her most important host!
-
Even the cover has The Abomination on it front and back! You totally expect it to be the Alloran-Controller Visser Three. But then you get Visser One.
THE STORY WAS GREAT THOUGH!!! Don't get me wrong!
It worked kind of like a bridge in where Eva/Visser One were at. It stripped The most dangerous Yeerk in the Empire to its simplest condition. It highlighted the conflict between the Vissers. And it ended with both Vissers on new grounds of the Yeerk Campaign.
Totally compensates for what we didn't learn. I loved it!
-
maybe crayak had something to do with it?
i'm not sure why eva was that great a host though.
-
The whole point of taking Eva was being in a host that separated her from the Human children. Eva was just some random, unimportant host in the end. Nothing more.

still, is it a completely coincidence that the child happened to become an animorph?
or maybe the ellimist chose him because of that?
-
I agree with the thought that the Ellemist stacked the deck. makes it less of a coincidence and more realistic.

yeah, if you think about it, all the animorphs were related to the aliens in some way, except for cassie really.
jake = brother's a controller
rachel = cousin is a controller
tobias = father is elfangor
marco = mother is visser 1
-
cassie was an anomaly...whatever that is...
-
a being that isn't quite grounded in normal spacetime. She can see slightly what the ellimist can see

yeah...the book's definition doesn't really clear it up too much...

oh yeah, forgot about that. perfect group, eh?
(what book was that mentioned in, i forget..)
-
MM#4 where the idea of ellimist stacking the deck first came from...

So Cassie could see that giving the Yeerks the ability to morph would cause at least some of them to give up fighting?
