What if you had the ability to morph... only one creature that is.... What creature will you acquire?
As for me, I'd choose a raptor morph, probably a peregrine falcon. Nothing beats flying.

Assuming we're only doing Earth animals:
I have often thought that my preferred battle morph would be a black panther. Strong and stealthy, combined into a fierce cat.
It's hard to pick just one morph, since the whole concept of morphing is to have things that could handle any given situation.

Because it's something we can turn into instead of something we're stuck as, I'd say a rat.

I think a peregrine falcon. A bird would be so much fun and that's my favorite bird...A dolphin would be fun, too.

I think a wolf, or canine of some sort... they're easily adaptable, and the canine family knows how to have fun.

Yeah, Esplin's right. I wouldn't be able to take only having one morph.

I'd definately choose a dog.
A red cattle dog..I love them and can sometimes be a bit aggressive, so I'd like to see what kind of instincts they deal with in their head.

That would be heaps hard to choose, I'd probably chose a monkey since I'm already alot like one :P

I'd go for some sort of bird of prey. It can be usefull in battles (although not as much as some other things), and you can FLY.

Good question, but a hard one to answer. A bird would be the easy choice, since I think everyone would want to fly. I'd pick a bird of prey, like a Harris Hawk or a Peregrine Falcon (two of my favs) or maybe even some kind of Owl (I'd like to fly at night.
Although I would probably go with the bird, I'd also love to morph a big cat, like a Tiger.
Okay, thought about it now. If I really had to choose, I think it would be an Owl. Normally I'd go with the Falcon (fastest thing alive!) but I'm quite a nocturnal person so I'd most likely go flying at night when I can't sleep.

I like rats, but it totally wouldnt be my only morph if you could only choose one.
I still stand by monkey, probably a chimpanzee..

Chimp is a good one! Despite being a lot shorter than us, Chimps have approximately 5 times an adult human's upper-body strength, although their thumbs are weaker than ours (I am channeling that book I got for my birthday!) :)

yeah... good point... You can even probably work with a raptor as a lookout for burglary purposes (unless the raptor eats you of course).

well if we're talking battle morphs, I'd choose a gorilla. But I don't want to waste my morph for a battle morph if I don't want to battle.

its nice and big but doesnt attract attention like a bald eagle

I had a dream last night I was in the woods with the Animorphs and all these electronics so Ax can build something and it was getting dark and the yeerks were coming. Almost all of my dream was morphing to an owl to hide the equipment so the yeerks couldn't find it, and it was fantastic. I would have said black panther, but after that dream, I dunno, it was a blast.

I meant of the natural world, those things could kill like....anything.
Although, Visser 3 never even got Tobias, I think an eagle could survive against him ;D

The trouble with "battle morphs" if you have only have one morph is that you can basically forget stealth and infiltration.
I love rats, but for sneaking into someone's house it's very risky because if they don't own some pet that considers you snack sized, someone is always investing in poisons or other deterrants for vermin.
I'd rather go with a small cat or a wolf. Wolves could pass for dogs in almost any urban area and a cat can enter almost any area and not get hurt. That said, I'd go with the cat because a cat isn't likely to get shot of someone catches it going through someone's purse.
Like someone else said, I don't have to use the animal for good.

I'd definitely go for a raptor, preferably one large enough not to be a prey item for other species.

Can you personally tell the difference between a wolf and a husky from a distance? Or even up close? If so, all the power to you. But the average city raised individual sees a dog-like animal at a distance and if it's not a coyote or a fox, they'll only assume wolf if they're trained experts.

Umn... not sure what types of huskies and wolves live in your part of the world, but out here, huskies are MASSIVELY built dogs, very bulky muscle by sled-dog standards, and tall. Wolves are much leaner, closer to the ground, and have longer and much narrower heads.
As for what we'd one-morph...

Lor - tiger of any type
Es - gerfalcon

Yeah, the length of the face and general leanness were what I immediately thought of.
I'm sure there are some individual wolves that could pass for dogs but I don't think its a general rule. Morph one of them I guess.

If we're limited to living creatures, I'd do bald eagle. But if I could somehow get an extinct one, then Quetzalcoatlus, the creature in my icon. It's my sort of scaly persona, although I'm not huge into any furry stuff. It was originally my Dinotopia board persona, but I often daydream about being it.

That's a hard question...
I think I would pick a bird, but a dolphin would also be great. But I think I would choose a bald eagle or a owl...well, I think a bald eagle. I love this birds.

My quick answer would be dolphin, just to have that portable therapy session for whenever I'm not feeling very pretty and happy.
After deep consideration and meditation, though, I would have to choose the peacawk.

Thank you, but I'm not kidding. Just visualize this scenario; Joe Blow the accountant is coming home from work in his car. It's been a long, harrowing day. Verbally abusive co-workers, terrible coffee from which he's finally feeling the caffeine crash from, and a morning headache that's been steadily throbbing harder each hour. However, work day's over at least, and now he could go back home to... what? A wife who he suspects is cheating on him with his firefighter brother? A surly teenage son who makes no attempt to hide his packs of cigarettes? An infant daughter who only ever giggles whenever she sees her father tripping and stumbling on his own feet? And then to cap it all off, his car breaks down in the middle of the road. Much too exhausted and impatient to call a tow-truck and wait, he decides to walk the rest of the way home. And that's when he sees it, smack in the middle of the street.
A beautiful, plump and magnificent peacawk. In the suburbs! But there's no zoos anywhere near this city, so how...? The peacawk will gaze at him solemnly, silently contemplating him, and will croon softly, "Find joy in the little things, ma boi." And it will fly off, leaving Joe flabbergasted. He'll continue walking the way home, but inexplicably there will be a spring to his step as he wildly entertains the idea of skipping daintily the rest of the way home. He laughs it off and doesn't decide to skip after all, but the important thing is that he even considered it.
This is my legacy. Bringing hope to people who have forgotten the taste of its sweet nectar. Helping the helpless. The rest of you can enjoy committing acts of perversion and theft in the disguises that the morphing ability will enable, but personally, this is what will bring me satisfaction and inner peace.

That was nice :) just hope you don't run into...... Oh never mind. I on the other hand would like my one morph to be the Bald Eagle. I don't want a battle morph, I just want something that would make me feel on top of the world.
By the way, you should write a Fan-Fic about that ;D
