So last weekend I fell in with a particularly disreputable group of RAFians (which I think is saying something). You can all imagine how it went down – it was a classic tale of seduction and deceit – but soon I was talking to RAFians on Skype, playing isketch and Civilization with RAFians, and, perhaps worst of all, having RAFians explain everything Animorphs to me (up to and including the television show, which I can now say is its own special form of oddly enjoyable torture). I figure I should at least be honest with myself about what’s happened, so here I am.
I had read the first dozen or so books as they were coming out, and I remember enjoying them quite a bit (I’ve at least never forgotten the names of the characters or the several alien species involved), but I’d always basically assumed that the series had died an honorable death shortly after, say, filling up one whole level of a normal bookshelf. As some of you may already know, this was not the case. I admit that I’m not terribly interested in doing more work than reading the Wikipedia page on each book of the series in order to catch up, but y’all don’t seem the types to hold a grudge over something like that.

Dameg - Lots of those sound pretty cool, but I think it's going to take a few more brainwashing sessions before I get sucked into something like that. Plus I'm finishing up a master's this semester, and that does things to your free time. But I have gotten an up-close look at the audiobook project and it's amazing what you guys are doing.
