Well I'm 21 years old and I started reading Animorphs when I was in 5th grade (maybe 6th I'm not for sure). Read them constantly throughout junior high and high school. Rap sheep is fairly standard. Never liked the TV series other than the Nostalgia factor (although I loved the opening song). I was left very disappointed on what I thought was a terrible ending, so I clung on to every random rumor like a drowning man e.g., Animorph movie, continuation of the series, etc...
After becoming embittered at the series and life in general, I sank pretty deep in fan fic for a while choosing to ignore the last book entirely.
Even though I hated KA for a while, despite the last book - Animorphs gave me some of the fondest memories growing up.
So thought I would join some other people who apparently had trouble letting go of the series as well :)

Welcome. I'm not that active myself, but I figured I should stop in and say "Hi." I didn't get into the series as a kid, actually. A friend of mine made me read it last semester! I finished them all in a few weeks between papers and tests haha. Yeah, the last book was a huge disappointment, but that's alright. All the other books that were great more than make up for it.
So you like fanfics? Do you write them? What about role play? I haven't tried doing an Ani fic yet, but I've done two RPs based on it, and it's great fun. I want to try a fic too when I'm done with nanowrimo :)

Never have done the role playing thing, I might have to try it, it seems like a lot of you guys are into it... I never got around to writing any fan fiction, i just used to read a lot of it.

Yanno, I feel exactly the same way about the TV show. I liked the theme song, and the nostalgia, and not much else. Then again, I think that's how most fans feel (although, I've heard that some people don't even like the theme song, which is something that I cannot quite comprehend, because I liked it so much).

Animorphs were a huge part of my childhood as well, you'll find a lot of us have that in common. ;D
We have tons of stuff to do! Dameg shared a bunch, but one section we have is Role Playing. If you enjoy RPing, we have two different sections:
