I thought it would be a cool idea to have a thread for promoting your fanfictions or just throwing around ideas that you are working on. So basically I was thinking you could just put the title and maybe a brief summary or w/e you want to do, then if the fic is available somewhere you can put a link.
This would make it really easy for people looking for a new fic to read to just scan through a bunch of summaries, and it would be cool to have people get comments on fic ideas that they might be just starting or whatever.
Shock gave me the idea from his post in the best fan fiction thread.
So, I don't know if anyone will be interested in doing this but to make it easier for people to distinguish between fics it might be good to have a consistant format.

summary: an ani/war fanfic. so it will have cats in it. Takes place about a few years after the war ends. It will turn out that the Yeerks haven't been totally defeated. There are some Yeerks who escaped during the war, who survived after it ended. They are trying to take over Earth again. Only, it won't be as easy. It lays in the hands of unexpected people to try to stop them.

SUMMARY: Rachel ends up in the Dark Angel verse. Basically how she could have changed what happens in season 2.

STATUS: Concept (I'm going to at least make this a oneshot)
MAIN CHARACTER: Tobias
SUMMARY: Tobias post-war fic. Tobias is drifting through Yellowstone, thinking of Rachel, when he sees something odd in a clearing, a large blue phone box. Doctor Who crossover.

SUMMARY: He gave her a choice, a chance to change everything. Unfortunately there was a cost, one that is far too high. Dark, Cloverfield crossover.
TITLE: The Hinges of Destiny

SUMMARY: what if the small Californian town was Sunnydale? Buffy crossover, would be multiple parts.

Title: Megamorphs 5: A New Breed of Heroes
Summary: It's basically a fanfic about the Animorphs' kids, Max, Lisa, Ben, and Pablo. And the prequel to a new series I'm starting
Title: Animorphs 55: The recruits
Summary: Max is really stressed out, he's involuntarily become the leader of the Animorphs, he lost one of his best friends on their first Yeerk Pool mission, and now has to find somebody to replace him. And to make things worse, he has to find another way back into the Yeerk Pool. Can he pull himself together, lead the New Animorphs, and find a replacement for Ben? Or will a combination of being overworked and fighting Visser 1 lead ot his downfall?
HUGE SPOILER ALERT. Highlight inside the parentheses(There will be 2 new Animorphs 1 will be Toby's son and the other will be Rachel's daughter, I wont go into a lot of details but no, Rachel is not back from the dead, and no, Toby's Son isn't half Hork Bajir. He's all human and isn't adopted)

SUMMERY: The Animorphs learn that the Yeerks are working on a Time Machine. When they go on a mission to stop them something goes wrong and the Animorphs and Yeerks (along with Visser Three) are blown back to the time of the Beast Wars! Can the Animorphs and Maximals cooperate? What will they learn about the Time Machine? Is there more to it than meets the eye? (corny, yes)

I know it's twisted; it's coming from me. And we'll see how it goes when I start writing it. I'll post it on the forum and if too many people have a problem with it I'll take it off. It's primary intent is not to be pornographic, it's supposed to be a funny take on Ax and how he can't control his newly found human emotions.

Title: Tales from a Dark Future

Summary: it is 2130 and humanity in a Dark Age that came after the Fall where almost all the nations of the world fell apart and humanity reverted back to a semi-medival state. Xenoism, and Racism is rife and open warfare in some areas. all races histories will be featured (andalite, human, hork-banjir, yeerk) and Mature content will be shown.

Summary: An RPG set in 2140. Humanity is just now coming out of the Dark Age that held it back for so long but it is still in the grips of it in most places. Feudal goverments and tribes litter the surface of earth, each wanting to expand or settle old feuds during this time. Hork-Banjir tribes are scatter along with countless humans and subhumans. the Andalites have returned and have been stranded on Earth with no way to regain contact with their homeworld and thus have to make do with working with the humans. Preaches of the "Sky Gods" have spread out across the land that was once called Russia, promaising a paradise and sociality that is all equal. not all are aware of the price that come with that paradise...
Racism and Xenoism are at an all time high and many sins have been indudged in the chaos of times such as these.
to be alive in such times is to be one amongst untold millions. each race competing amongst the others for space, resources, or even simply the right to remain alive. a New Renaissance is dawning but who will be there to reap the befits?...

Title: The Stolen (Doctor Who crossover)
Status: concept/work in progress
Summary: In the blink of an eye the entire Earth shakes and is pulled outside of the normal universe. Twenty-Six planets suddenly inhabit the sky, all around the world it is night, and there is something coming down from space. Alone, the Animorphs stand no chance, but perhaps with some help from a mysterious woman they can still save the world.
If I do write it it will have to be after I see the finale on saturday night.

Okay, I'm not sure if I should even post this 'cause I don't know when the next time is I'm going to be working on my animorphs fic, but I was wondering if anybody might wanna see it and have what I DID write of it so far...
Title: The Phoenix Files
Status: Work in Progress/on haitis
Summary: Tobias has been through a lot - and it's not over yet. He discovers something curious about his father's past that has him reaching for stars again, and another species begs for help. Years later, after the incident with the Rachel, he finally gets a chance to start over, a new, real life...or is it really any different at all from the one he'd been leading as a teenager?

TITLE: A normal life
STATUS: Concept
SUMMARY: Basically Akdor died before leading the yeerks to war. So Elfangor never had to leave Earth (I'm assuming he still ended up on Earth somehow), and therefore never crashed running from V3. Tobias and the others all had normal lives. It's ten years after when they were meant to go into the construction site.
Jake ended up in the Navy on the fast track to command. Rachel is a Marine serving in Iraq. Tobias is a photo journalist. Cassie runs a vet practice in San Diego. And Marco... well I'm not sure what Marco's up to yet.
But then there's Melissa. She knows something is coming, but what? And even if she finds out what it is, will she be able to stop it?
