I may have started a thread like this before, but I feel that Rachel having a picture of Tobias in book 3 is odd. When Tobias talks about his old life, he mentions jake. He never mentions that hot girl that took a picture of him once. If I was Tobias, that would be worth mentioning. I don't think he mentions it in Back to Before either. Does he? It just seems out of place.

Something better would be if she made a drawing of him from memory, then showed it to him. Then she would look less like a possible stalker at worst.

Not as odd as when she told him she would miss him if he died in book 1 then. And the photo could be a school photo that she had stolen.

Just because KA said that he kept to himself doesn't mean that Rachel didn't develop a crush on him on her own.

Also, someone has posted this topic before.

I theorized that she had a yearbook photo of him.

Yeah, I like the yearbook photo idea. Ad I don't think it would be odd to say she's miss him if he died. That's her being nice.

Now that's not to say she'd fall into a depressed state and lose nights of sleep, or anything...

Chad. I was sarcastic... this reminds me about something... Anyway, the yearbook is the same thing as I meant, actually it's even better if everyone can take the photo they want, then I can't find anything odd with Rachel having a photo of Tobias. And I still believe Rachel liked him as early as book 1.

See, this is where reading the books out of order warps some sense of development. :P I read that line in book 1 as though Rachel liked Tobias then. But I also read all the Tobias-narrated books that were out at the time (3, 13, 23) before I read 1, so I was used to just thinking that way.

For about five seconds I tried to think of Rachel as some sort of semi-creepy stalker. I just ended up giggling at the ludicracy of it. So, yeah. My guess is it's some kind of school photo.
