Quite frankly, I'm sick of some of the mods here. Two times now in less then a week, two threads have been locked, for no reason whatsoever, both times the threads were still on-topic and were in good fun and nobody was being hurt by them, nor was it getting anywhere near our of hand. It's at the point where it feels like we're not allowed to have any fun on here, and I'm apart of plenty of other websites that DO allow good ol'fashion fun as long as nobody is getting hurt and it doesn't get out of hand.
Everyone has me on twitter, MSN, Facebook and skype anyway, so I have a feeling I'll stay in touch with those I'm close to anyway over those, but for me, this site has gone downhill a lot in the last half a year due to two or three mods that seem to take their job here overly-serious to the point where I just want to tell them that they need to get laid, or at the very least, take the sticks out of their asses.
Anyway, bye.

Sorry to see you go, Slushie Man . . .
-
I'm sorry you feel that way Slushie. As far as I know none of the staff are being unreasonable, although the Spamming Police thread may have been locked prematurely (the matter is still being discussed). What is the second thread you're referring to?
-
The first time we were talking about the Spamming police, it was in a thread about spammers, and someone suggested the spamming police idea and I was like 'Yeah, that's a pretty good idea'
and then one of the mods, not sure which one, said something like 'This is getting out of hand. Locked.' How was that getting out of hand? It was on topic and all that was said was 'I agree'.
But these haven't been the only times, they've just been the only times recently. I feel a lot of the mods here prematurely lock threads 90% of the time they lock them, and almost never give a reason for it, at least not in the ones I've seen in the past, and its beyond annoying when you're having a conversation, and you're in the middle of it, and suddenly you're not allowed to continue it, with no explanation. It seems some of the mods just do that to remind people that they're a mod and I don't agree with that kind of attitude. I've been a mod on several sites and not once have I ever acted like that, because I think that kind of attitude is inappropriate for a mod to have.
If a thread is not out of control, and no harm is coming from it, then why lock it or delete it? Even when one is off-topic, I don't really consider that bad as long as its something that everyone in the thread is participating in and not just two buddies having their own little convo within it, but that's just personally me. It just seems to me that there are a couple mods on here that just like to remind people that they're mods.

I haven't noticed any mods behaving that way, and I hope you don't think I have.
Thought you might like to know that the Spamming Police thread isn't locked...
-
No, you and Claire are two that I've never had any beef with, so no worries.
-
sorry to see you go man
we never really talked or anthing but for what its worth, your a good dude

Should have seen it as soon as you volunteered for Tobias. I guess the curse lives on.
I doubt I can convince you to stay, but consider coming back some time.
Until then, so long.

Well I'm having a chat with Richard right now, so I don't know what's going on, but even if I leave the site, I'm still willing to do the voice of Tobias. I've got pretty much everyone on Skype/MSN/Facebook/Twitter, so its not hard to get in touch with me at all.
Thing is, I'm not even sure if I AM still Tobias. I was told that right after I left the chat that night, Ken was in and he was still being Tobias, but Ken was wishing me luck with it on Twitter around that very same time, so I have no idea.
Also, I've not yet been given access to that one site for the people involved in the project, and that was a couple weeks ago now, so I have no idea if I even still am Tobias or if Ken's taken it back and that's why I've not been allowed on the project Site or what. Also, I made a comment about how I've recorded some lines for Tobias from the first 3 or 4 chaps of Megamorphs 1, to see what the people in charge think of them, but nobody ever got back to me with where to send them or who to send them to or anything, so I've just been assuming that Ken took Tobias back and I was no longer Tobias.
-
I've been chatting with Richard all morning, and I think I will stay, however my opinion on some of the mods and how they act towards regular members still stands, but Richard has agreed to talk to them about that.
So I guess this thread can be deleted or locked or whatever the mods feel needs to be done to it.

Glad to hear you're staying.
