If by some weird chance, the Ellimist gives you the power to morph and tells you to choose at the most 6 RAFians to join u in fighting the Yeerks, who would you choose and why? my team would be Demos, Goom, Jess, Estrid, Broken, and Anna.
Goom, Demos, Broken: My RAFhomies, I can't leave them out
Estrid and Jess: They seem like they'd be the Cassie(especially Jess) of the group and every team needs the moral crazy, passionate, kind hearted, tree hugging, anomaly who also isnt afraid to kick some ass for the sake of the planet
Anna and Demos: Those two would be the Rachels of the group and bassically the opposite of estrid and Jess which a team also desperately needs. A ruthless, violent, courageous, fighters who sure as hell arent afraid to fight, no, murder, for the sake of the planet. Demos seems like he'd take it to the extreme and possibly be more of a David(minus the betrayal and attempted assassinations)
my only flaw in this is finding the leader(definetly not me, I can't handle pressure like that. Plus I need to be able to blame somebody when things go wrong not vice versa) I'd probably pick either Goom or Demos to be the leader

For me its hard to give much detail why.. I don't know many people well here, and I've known the space bar crew for about 10 years! Who better than the other brats I grew up with? We made it this far!

Adam: RAFboyfriend. And who doesn't want the Ellimist on their side?

Guy: Because I know him IRL and he's cool.

Dark Knight - Because he has a knack of bringing the obvious to my attention when I don't think of it. He's also the person online that I'm closest to, having known him for 10+ years.
Alic - Cause she seems to be one hell of a strong person, both mentally and physically.
Claire - Hot Aussies are always a plus.
Azguard - He's my little RAF-Wingman in the Crush thread. And he's funny.
Gaz - Likes most of the same stuff I do, so she'd probably be the first to agree to my Plans, lol
Stalker - Where Gaz goes, Stalker goes. Whether I like it or not. Plus I've had the pleasure of doing verbal battle with her once, and I could use someone like that in a fight if she physically battles as good as she verbally does.

Kelran and JFalcon. These two I get along with. I agree with them on things, and I think it's mutual. If Kelran ever comes back.
Hylian Dan. I may not agree with him much, but he sees deep meaning in things. I would want him, for my foil if nothing else.
Including me, that makes Five. Who else? Maybe Estelore. She seems like the kind of person who can be your best friend, or your worst enemy.

HAHAH i had thought of my team a while back of course originaly my team was not of RAF members and if you have heard of my dream about the Alternamorph team you will know what i'm talking about.
teh team was Zohrra as the leader me and several of my online friends including Jeff ( you may know him as the guy who made teh Morphing powers video and teh Swine flu The movie VIDEOS)
now if it was just with Raf members I of course would still have Zohrra as leader. not just because he is my fishy but he seems to my knowledge to be real cool under pressure and can plan things quite well.
i have been here for a while but i can't say i know the members all that well. but from the little i know i believe i would chose
Brad , Estrid , Claire , Goom , and Dameg
man so many people to choose from XD

As RYTX said, guerilla warfare doesn't really work if you're using a huge army.

Yes, BUT! Since we're all spread out across the world, it would be many different guerrilla factions attacking, seemingly unrelated.

I would like to think I have Rachel qualities. I definately act before I think a lot of times. But there's enough of "cassie" in me to even it out. I think. lol I knew it! I'm not the only one who thinks I'd be the Marco of the group! As for Cody being the "Cassie"....WTH!? LOL there is nothing morally correct about him LOL if anything he'd be a marco too. You and Jess seem more like the Cassies/Rachels(weird to be a mix between those two opposite personalities)

I can't decide. I think we'd all just be one big Animorphs team, hopefully with a better fate than the aux-Animorphs. With Richard at the front, shooting fire from his hands or something.
But of course I do have a soft spot for us oldies from the GESB :P Jess, Alic, Breekan, applix, Ozzy....and my friend Kelly (Shenmue654), she'd kick some serious *ss, too. Oh, and Dave (Pez001). We'd be one of the token "Animorphs relationships". ::)

I would chose AniDragon because she is from Canada, and Kelly because she is from Australia, Stasiea because she is from Russia, Dameg because she is from France, Phoenix004 because he is from United Kingdom and myself because... I'm from Sweden. Then we would have a worldwide force!
(I was about to pick estrid, Chad28 or Faerie Larka, but then I decided that as America allready have the Animorphs and Ax... then the rest of the world is more vulnerable, so I thought Kelly, Dameg and Stasiea would be a better choice - otherwise - I think I had said... Anidragon, Dameg, Stasiea, Faerie Larka... Mira... and... estrid or Chad, I don't know)

And that's why I didn't list my team, as there's so many awesome members to choose from and I wouldn't want to offend any of you by not choosing you as one of my five (as it would be six including myself).

I don't know a lot of people to make anyone a part of my team. Th gesb people I have known for about 10 years. And I have now added Slushie, because he's like me only a guy. Two of me is awesome.

/me takes his 30-06 & hands him an M-14 and a Knight's 6mm Carbine. You need something semi-auto for under 600 yards & a personal defense weapon.
I get the .338 Lapua Magnum bolt rifle cuz I'm the better shot. Of course I'll also need a 6mm Carbine PDW in case they get too close.

I would hope so, I wouldn't want to go into battle unarmed.
Also before hand stock up on ammo & frag grenades./me goes to Somalia to buy several cases.

Surely the guns are unnecessary when you can morph? Otherwise you'd have to morph a creature that could wield a gun, or stay as a human and expose your identity to the Yeerks. Even just using human weapons might be suspicious, as Andalites would no doubt have access to Shredders or Dracon Beams.

I'm pretty sure KA was against the use of firearms, which is odd in a war story. But if this was real life, and I was using my Gorrilla morph, I would definitely pick up some firearms along the way. Or bring soem with me, depending on how I'm going in.
Sniper rifle and AK-47 would suit me, I think. AK-47s are notoriously dependable, and a good sniper rifle would be ideal for me. Personally, I don't care if the Yeerks know I'm a Human morpher.

I dislike guns. My creepy neighbor, who just moved out thank god, used to come knock on my door at midnight and ask me if I wanted to shoot his gun. That he carried in his sweat pants pockets to come next door.creeps.

I dislike guns.
I like them in games and such. Like in the Mortal Kombat games, my favorite dude is the one with all the guns, from Trilogy, but in real life, I really don't like them at all, and instead love swords and axes, ect way more. They're much more honorable of a weapon and actually take some real skill.
I blame the bow & arrow. That was the beginning of the end for melee weapons ;D

I think you guys are missing the point. The Animorphs would have been dead, captured, or on the run right from the start if the Yeerks had known they were human. Even if you escaped and went into hiding, the Yeerks could use your loved ones against you.
Besides, the whole point of guerilla warfare is to be secretive and stealthy. It doesn't really work if they know who you are and where you live!

Hostages don't work on me. I'd just kill them anyway. If they killed those I cared about, that would just motivate me more to eliminate them. I wouldn't become an emotional wreck. At least I don't think so. I don't care to test that out.

Phoenix, the simple plan would be to do what the actual Animorphs did for a bit, except capture and keep Dracons. Dracons are far superior to human weaponry, as well as creating confusion. As a human, you could be among the YPM, creating in-circle strife (Morph Chapman, and do some damage as him, etc). As a Hork-Bajir, you could be either be among the free ones, or the YPM, or, if possible, morph Andalite and do damage that way.
I don't think I'll name a team because I've only been here a couple/few months, and haven't gotten to know everyone well, as well as reasons Phoenix already mentioned.

The most produced 30-06 was the M1 Garand, semi auto. Maybe you meant something clip fed or that has a larger magazine? Still, guns like that in .30-06 exist.
Honestly, if I were using guns and in that position, I would get something for extreme ranges, such as a Barret, and take out vital targets from a distance. If I was going for a personal defense weapon, I wouldn't want anything scoped, because it's useless if they're up very close or come up behind you. For places where the actual Animorphs were fighting (buildings, etc), I'd go as a Silverback with a 10ga that has an extended magazine.
Still, like I said above, I'd probably hold out until I got my hands on a Dracon beam. It's more devastating, apparently doesn't need to be reloaded very often at all (I believe something along the lines of a power cell was mentioned), seems to be more accurate (A beam of light/particles vs. a piece of lead), easily replaceable during raids, and most importantly, it would maintain anonymity and secrecy. A normal gun is a dead giveaway as to being human.

Think there is a reason for using a .338 Lapua Magnum for the bolt rifle.
The .339 Lapua Magnum Cartridge is explicitly designed anti-personnel round at ranges over 800 yards. The main advantage of it over a .50 BMG (which is anti-material) is portability. It's a standard size rifle vs a big mutha like a Barret.
Also I believe Esplin was referring to a bolt action .30-06 hunting rifle.

and i thought my neighbors were bad. 70 year old hillbilly couple on crack. the wife has an 80 year old husband and a BF who's like 30, and a transvestite, or drag queen. im not sure, has just moved in with them. and the Woman is always ODing. LOL there's like always an ambulance in front of their house

I used to have super ghetto neighbors. One lit the dumpster of our apartment building on fire. The other had a psycho boyfriend who stood out in the hallway of the building threatening to kill her one night so I ended up having to call 911. The cops came and ended up arresing the woman because she was drunk and in violation of her parol and they left the guy there. Needless to say ten minutes after the police left the guy was pounding on my door threatening to kill me for callin the police. I ended up calling the police for a third time that night and they came back and arrested him. Needleas to say i loved my old apartment building.
