I've never met you, so I personally wouldn't notice, but you have recieved 10 Karma, so someone has noticed you.

If you frequent a certain board, or a certain thread, eventually people would notice that you haven't replied.

But if you're mostly a lurker that posts here and there, then no. I don't believe anyone would. that's the way of the world. Cyber and otherwise.

Well, I am always sad to see a RAFian leave.  But, sadly, I would not have noticed if you had not made this thread.  Why are you considering leaving? :-\

I think I remember you joining.  You spend most of your time in RP, so I wouldn't know you very well anyway.

In answer to your question, yes it would matter.  But, would you break the community?  Probably not.  I think we could survive even losing Richard if it came to that.  If you're not feeling the place, it's okay to take a break or even leave.

In any case, may you find peace and happiness wherever life leads you.

new game JUST got released (by our 'admin', flying bear) called plants vs zombies (popcap game), so we might get more activity.

*whew*

That was close Horsie, you scared me for a bit.

I think all that contact with other peoples sanities is starting to taint you. Maybe you should invest in some gloves...

Title: Re: would it matter?
Post by: Horsefan1023 (Seal) on May 18, 2009, 05:02:07 PM
Woot!

And Parker, Trust me.  My sanity is long gone.  I lost it, it fell on the floor, I felt the need to clean up, and thus began my job of incinerating the sanities.  Mine went down the chute long ago...

I would never drop RAF. Sometimes yes, I agree, I have way too many sites to constantly check and not enough time to check them, but what I normally do in those cases, is instead of dropping one, like RAF, I just keep all the E-mail notifications in my e-mail and when I do have the time, such as on my days off from work, I just go through all of them one-by-one, and then once I get caught up on those, I check to see if there's any interesting new posts, then I go silent until I have more time again. Or I'll respond to one or two posts during my down time.

That's normally what I do here. That's why there's 2 or 3 days in a row where I'm on almost 24/7, then like, 6 or 7 days in a row where you'll hardly see me, if at all. And I'd probably be on even during those times a lot more, if it wasn't for the fact that most everyone I talk to on here, I also have on Facebook, Twitter, and MSN, so I still keep in touch with them even during those times, so it doesn't even feel like I'm away for too long, cause I still keep in contact with most everyone off-site.
