I read somewhere that Tobias morphs into Rachel. Is that true?
-
Cassie morphs into Rachel. I don't think Tobias ever does. Tobias morphs into Taylor who is described as an older looking Rachel.
-
And to add to that, Im sure there is some horrific fanfic out there about how Tobias, using Taylor's body went out and got knocked up....Hey, it could happen
-
Now that's just unpleasant :(
yeah
eww
-
When does Cassie morph into Rachel?
-
Book 12
-
Lol. i remember that. Cassie said "I'm having a hard time controlling this morph."
Rachel: What? What's so wrong with being me?
Cassie: This morph. It keeps trying to get me to do really dumb things.
Wow...Cassie just called her best friend DUMB. I rest my case. Rachel was a dumb blond.
-
Thank you everyone for answering my questions. I have one more, was the book were David returns for revenge against Rachel anygood?
-
In my opinion, so so
It was interesting, except that half the time I didn't know what was a dream, what was real, and what was memory.
-
^^^^^What he said. Very surreal book. Annoying half the time. Till the end. You'll def love the ending, best part.
-
#48 was one of my favorites. It had Crayak in it, so you will be pretty much guessing if its real reality, fake reality, a dream, or a hallucination. And yeah, the ending will pretty much erase the "dumb blond" part of Rachel. In that book at least.
-
I personally disliked that book, I spent half the book thinking that she had finally been written off as a bloodthirsty mindless killer with absolutely no morals, which the second half of the series seemed to be leaning towards, it irritated me because it bothered me that for the first half they showed multiple sides to rachel and then decided screw that lets make her one dimensional and psychopathic, it was about this book when I realized undoubtedly who would die at the end of the series, I almost felt like they wanted us to hate her
-
The ending saved the book, in my opinion. A reappearance of David could have been handled a MILLION times better, but the end scene is one of my favorites out of the entire series.
-
yea the overall book was pretty subpar, i wouldnt say the ending saved it, but it cemented itself as one of the most powerful scenes

If anyone is interested, I'm writing a rewrite of Book 48, since I was a little disappointed. David is one of my personal favourites, and I just thought that, if he was going to return, he should return as a potential threat. I mean, the Animorphs are getting closer and closer to the end of the invasion by this point, and David's return could jeopardize that progress.
IF anyone is interested, you can find it on FFN.
Animorphs 48: the Return, by Tobias Mason Park...
You know, if you're interested....
Currently four chapters.
