I'm new, there I said it.
I'm here because I generally re-read the entire series once every year or so, it's like a subliminal message imprinted in my brain. The most recent time I attempted to do this I thought "heh, maybe there's an audio book" and at the time the closest thing was the radio show over which this site was eventually mentioned, thus leading me here. After months, yes months of meaning to sign up I finally managed to do so today . . .
Though I know how lazy that makes me sound I assure you I'm so much lazier, but I'm here to discuss the books with actual people because if I continue to argue about this and marvel at that by myself I'll go even further insane.
Other than that I don't like long walks on the beach and candle light dinners make me nervous.

Welcome mortal

*leaps out of puddle* Hi! Don't be scared, I'm just a magical seal. Do you still have your sanity, by the way?
-
Hiya! Welcome to the forum! And yes. If you have your sanity in tact, we're going to need to take that...
-
In fact, give it to me, It's my job to collect the sanities and--collect the sanities. Heh heh...
-
hey, welcome to the forum!
:)
-
Btw, that's not actually Broken. That's Goom. The two switched names. I'm not sure why, though.
-
hmm? ;D
yeah, just a one-night thing.
(anna and claire switch too if you didn't notice)
-
Yes, I noticed. And THANK YOU for changing back. The name switches is insanely annoying.
-
haha, no problem ;)
-
welcome.
i like how his first welcome is by a magical seal. how ordinary... ::)
-
It's not the first time a seal's talked to me, but it might be the first time it claimed to be magical. As for my sanity, well I figure I'm already insane, and as long as I know I'm insane I can't really be insane because the insane never think they're insane, which actually means that on some level I don't think I'm insane so I really must be insane, thus I'm right to think I'm insane and therefore can't really be insane which makes me insane all over again. So sorry, no sanity to collect, all I have is pocket lint . . . and you can't have that, it's my friend.
-
Ah, yes. You'll fit in quite well here. ;)
-
oh wow. @_@
-
*shrugs*
Makes sense to me...
-
you're insane.
-
Well good. Because I always have to get rid of the sanities. I do the dirty work.
-
Welcome :) :)

you're a good start to showing people the craziness of RAF
-
Get them used to it early, I say.
-
yes horseal. does that apply to your future children?
-
Well, I'm going to be an eccentric uncle, so there will be plenty of opportunity for that.
-

Welcome to RAF.
*swirls his cloak and vanishes before Horse and Faerie could see him.*
-

CLOAKY! I SAW YOU! We're totally setting you up with someone.
-
Lol. You're better at appearing in the right room, Cloaky!

Sorry falcon, we're trying to get Cloaky a RAF date. Don't mind us.
Maybe you're a Jake Nothlit, Falcon?
-
Welcome to RAF, Falcon! :)
-
wHELLcome JF! You're turning insane? Perfect, we'll help you.
Nobody did it, and I don't know if you saw every projects RAFians have, so I gonna tell you about them:
E-books Project (mostly complete, and therefore inactive. However, there has been some activity trying to clear up the last little details in support of the Translation Project),
Remnants and Everworld E-books projects will be soon finished too (miss Everworld #10)...
RAFipedia (an encyclopedia of the weirdness that goes on here, headed up by Estelore)
The Audiobooks project, a full-cast audio version of Animorphs, which is currently reactivating. There are many non-acting positions open, plus quite a few parts (especially extras) as well. Mrguy, Morfowt, and myself are currently heading that.
The Translation Project (http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,1907.0.html) (actually in the Other Books board currently), a recently started project/mutual support group for translations into other languages. With a lot of random language-geekyness. Currently, there's been interest in French (Dameg, Tocade, Anidragon), Chinese (Morfowt), Indonesian (Nat), and Esperanto (myself)--but as far as I know, no real goals have been set yet. Personally, I'm only interested in continuing work on my translation once the Audiobooks are moving along well.
The Webcomic project: making the comic of Animorphs.
The RPG project: I'll do it in French, but with some RAFians, we gonna translate. And RAFians also help ^^ a lot!
You can participate, if you want. You can give ideas, or work on them to death... or just go by and take a look.

Cool, those sound interesting. As I said I'm lazy but I'll take a look at them sometime over the weekend, when I've got more time to spare and see if there's anything I can contribute.
