cassie acquired rachel on book 12. and after rachel's death, what if she used that morph once again? and what would tobias say?
-
he'd probably slap her.
i would, that's for sure.
it'd be hilarious if somebody was allergic to rachel and they did the hereth illint thing.
yay! rachel's back!
-
uh, yeah, I doubt she'd do that XD It's just... so not Cassie, ya know?

I wonder if when they morph human they acquire basic tendencies of the person. Like how the animals have the instincts, if a person morph varies in instinct.

I guess it depends if the qualities are genetic or acquired over time for example if somone were to aquire a person with down syndrome then they would have to deal with that, but if they acquired somone with multiple personality disorder (which is not genetic and results from in an especialy abused child) they would not have an alternate identity to deal with.

This actually was mentioned in book 12, I think. When Cassie morphed Rachel, she commented that her mind kept trying to get her to do stupid things.
-
I think that was just a joke. Though some instincts should be present.
-
you would get a body without a mind. It would be a clone essentially only without any of the experiences that makes Rachel Rachel.
-
Hm good question.
But like, do different human morphs give you different instincts? Or are they all just the same?
-
I think they'll be mostly the same, but some characteristics or habits will be different, like being right-handed.

i think that was partly a joke.

Ah. I have a rather Andalite-like tendency to miss jokes. And I still don't get it, but oh well.

Does anyone remember that blind girl who morphed into Rachel when they recruit new Animorphs? If she was not born blind then it would cure her and no problem at all, but if she was, then she would definitely want to keep the eyes. And the hair. And lips. Probably the whole body too. Strangely there is no mentioning of her ever again. It would be really awesome if one day the Animorphs ran into "Rachel" lol.
-
good point, i had forgoten the blind girl. i dont think they ever mentioned her morphing back, so that would be wierd.
but ya it wouldnt be like cassie to morph rachel again, but if she did, i am pretty sure she would get some negative reactions
