Hey all, I just joined this forum out of a fit of nostalgia. I'm 20 years old and attend college in Delaware in the US. I'm Jon, nice to meet you all.
-
Welcome. I'm sure you'll like it here. Any problems, questions, etc... don't hesitate to send me a message (http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=1).
:welcome:

*swirls his cloak and appears*
Huh? Who let that dog in here?! Ew . . .
Oh, welcome to RAF, Jon. You didn't bring this dog in -- *looks at the dog* yeah, I'm talking about you.
You can call me Cloaky for short, everyone else does, and I still find it funny. And don't touch the cloak . . . >:D ;)
*vanishes with a swish of his cloak*

wHELLcome ^^
RAFians has many projects:
E-books Project (mostly complete, and therefore inactive. However, there has been some activity trying to clear up the last little details in support of the Translation Project),
Remnants and Everworld E-books projects will be soon finished too (miss Everworld #10)...
RAFipedia (an encyclopedia of the weirdness that goes on here, headed up by Estelore)
The Audiobooks project, a full-cast audio version of Animorphs, which is currently reactivating. There are many non-acting positions open, plus quite a few parts (especially extras) as well. Mrguy, Morfowt, and myself are currently heading that.
The Translation Project (http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,1907.0.html) (actually in the Other Books board currently), a recently started project/mutual support group for translations into other languages. With a lot of random language-geekyness. Currently, there's been interest in French (Dameg, Tocade, Anidragon), Chinese (Morfowt), Indonesian (Nat), and Esperanto (myself)--but as far as I know, no real goals have been set yet. Personally, I'm only interested in continuing work on my translation once the Audiobooks are moving along well.
The Webcomic project: making the comic of Animorphs.
The RPG project: I'll do it in French, but with some RAFians, we gonna translate. And RAFians also help ^^ a lot!
You can participate and contribute to the projects if you want.
Wish you'll find the Sharing the closest from your home and become a full member quickly ^^

Welcome mortal you may stay if you wish but your mind is at risk if you do.
-
Welcome to RAF.

WARNING: RAF will cause severe mental trauma and other unintended side effects. If you suffer from thoughts of suicide, or can't accept the fact that not many of us are human, please contact your nearest doctor.
-
Depression? No, RAF is more likely to cause psychosis. Why else would there be skeletons in the closets?
Hi. I'm Weathel. Welcome aboard. This place is very welcoming--and not just about Animorphs. That's just one of the two things that bind us together: Animorphs and insanity. Anyway, be sure to check out the projects Dameg mentioned. If you have any questions about RAF, life, math homework, or especially the audiobook project, feel free to send me a PM or Skype me.

Insanity is an intended affect of RAF.
-
I agree with Wild, it's more psychosis. In fact, some members had psychosis before they came on RAF, the other people have it since they come here ^^
-
Not to mention that RAF boasts a number of different sentient species -- *glances at animefanboy* You're human, right?
-
Welcome to RAF!
Enjoy the madness :)
-
Welcome to RAF! I am Gaz, but some/most call me Gazzy.
Enjoy your stay and check your sanity at the door. The bellboy is a taxxon and probably ate your luggage...no you can't have cash compensation because you're the one who gave your luggage to a taxxon.
-
welcome to the forum, jon.
make a few posts, the community always needs more people! ;)

Many species is one of the key features of the RAF hotel.
Once you get in, your name is recorded forever... >:Dhahaha.
