I bet this has already been before ??? But anyway..
What's your favorite Animorphs thing meaning what did you like best of the series:
Me, I liked the character relationships :) Especially Jake && Cassie <3 ;D
-
The humor, turning into animals, and the action. All good things that happened in book 8, which was the first book I read. I know KA wanted to make us think about war as we read the series, but that just wasn't going through my mind when I read the first 20 books or so. It was more like an actiony, superhero type series to me, instead of a dark tale that depicts the realism of war.
-
I confess the morphing is my favoirte Animorphs thing. I always wish I could do it . . .
-
I always loved the aliens and their names. :]
People learn to speak klingon right, well id learn galarad if it was possible. I was always very interested in the alien languages and stuff.
-
Yeah, it's a shame we never got a propper look at Galard (Gallard?). It would have been cool if there was, like, a companion guide to teach you the language.
-
That would be such a cool language to learn!
A secret animorphs language!
-
The humour, Marco and Aximili (yeah I was in love with him :P), Visser Three and the action.
Almost like Nohensen ;)
-
EVERYTHING ;D
but i guess if i had to narrow it down, i'd say Andalites for sure, the humor, Rachel and Tobias (:inlove:) and the awesome details that you have to read every book to catch
incredible series
-
The characters were my favorite part of the series. They were some of the first that I could really understand and relate to. :)
-
Definantly the humor. The Aliens (especially the Andalites) was another of my favorite things though.
-
probably the books.. ::)
haha.
i loved the the creativity, the morphing, and the aliens. the characters were very likeable (except marco :P)
-
I liked the the beginnings of the books. kinda entertaining...
-
andalite home world
-
Yeah, definitely the dynamic interactions of the characters in approaching each situation.
-
i liked the aliens, the character, and the morphing.
and yes, this thread already exists in some way, shape, or form.
-
Morphing and the aliens.
:)
-
The one-way subtext between Marco and Jake. ;D
-
the morphing. especially on the covers. But what really got me interested in Animorphs was the fact that I was a kid and liked anything with aliens and cool stuff like morphing. But once I was old enough to actually read the books I started to like how it was written, and the character developments, ect
-
I also like that whenever I hear someone say "Let's do it" I actually get excited.
-
What i love most about the series is the relationship between Tobias and Rachel.

I think your username lends to that fact. ;)

These two thing.
-
The fact that the alien species are all slowly fleshed out throughout the series.
-
The actual morphing, turning into animals. I'd so love to be able to do that.

I agree, but it would be way better without the time limit xD
I also liked the morphing and also the realtionship between Rachel and Tobias. But I liked the characters the most. They were so great.

That's right. :)
-
I liked the chronicles, so I guess its the actual world of the aliens and the relationships between the different species.
Animorphs related, I like how...... Its the...... The part I like...... I guess I just like something about the later books (after 35). :P
-
The ending. Bring it, haterz. :P
OK, more seriously: the way the series took an aquatic parasite with no eyes that reproduced by splitting itself to pieces, or a giant centipede that eats its offspring, and made you say: "Yeah... that's a person."
Also the way it told a story about a war, in which some of the biggest heroes and some of the biggest victims and some of the war criminals were all the same people.
-
My favourite thing...the fact that I read Animorphs when I was 11-15 years old (except for 50,51,52 and others) and it reminds me when I was young, handsome, strong, and I had nothing to do from morning to night.... ;D
Ok, Seriously : I like the general plot of the series, especially the morphing power and the aliens, particularly the Andalite, they are so incredibile with their appearance. And, obviously, the covers....very well-designed. And the names...I like names like Elfangor, Arbron, Esgarrouth, etc., they sound epic (and some are probably inspired by Tolkien)
-
My favorite thing would have to be the series itself and Tobias. I was never really stuck on a book series till I read the first one and then I was hooked so much on this. Tobias also because without that character I wouldn't be the person I am today...or the roleplaying person either.
-
1. Morphing; 2. Aliens; 3. Action, the whole 'underdog vs the rest' thing.
-
My favorite thing (as I've gotten older) is the way that these kids, as human beings, deal with war. I've always thought that war and the effects it has on people is really interesting. The thing that changes a culture the fastest and most dramtically is war, and watching people deal with this--deal with real human emotions--is interesting and very beautiful to me. It really shows the whole color scale of human thought and emotions.
-
I love it when they first absorb the animals/bugs DNA's and have to fight the minds and instincts of what they absorb. I always found that interesting to see.
