Greetings, all. I've been an Animorphs fan since the series first started all those years ago. Although I'm new to this forum, I've been a part of the Animorphs online community for months and am a Global Moderator for AFF. But I heard a thing or two about this forum and thought it might be worth checking out.

AFF is the Animorphs Fan Forum; similar to this one but younger and with lots of notable (though minor) differences.

Younger as in newer, although some of our regular members are kind of young. Most of us are between 16 and 20.

Glad you like it. I'm in to just about anything that plays with words, although I regret that I didn't write that speech myself; I got it from KOL.

Cap's fine with me. It's one of the many names I'm called in other places. I also answer to C, Sir Cap, Capn, and anything beginning with Captain. And I think I've responded to Satan a few times, too...

Well, I'm feeling pretty welcomed, to say the least.
Of course, an Admin and I over at AFF have something of a contest going to see who can officially welcome new members first (I'm winning, by the way). I'm surprised there isn't that sort of competition here.
Overall, I'm liking my stay so far.

I'll take a look of your forum, AFF...
Yesterday, I thought I'd like to make a "RAF" for French (so in French), for all the French fans who (poor things!) don't know English (nobody is perfect).

Well, I couldn't answer you about the French. AFF has a subforum for the Russians; I'm pretty much running that show. Sadly, their activity really dropped off around the time that whole mess with Georgia started, so we don't see a lot of them anymore. I'm pretty sure the series didn't get beyond book 14 in their country... :( But I do what I can to enlighten them.

how come the Georgia thing would mess them up?

I have no idea. I just noticed that their lack of activity coincided with the Georgia issue. It may just be coincidence, but that's when they started disappearing.

I know there are still French fans of Animorphs, but no (alive) website for them. And I know a lot of Frenchs just won't come here because they aren't enough good in English (or think they aren't..., or are to lazy ;)). I'll ask Richard if he's OK ^^
PS: I'll also put an English subforum, because I always do that on my forums ^^
