I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of this, so I am also sure you will probably have an answer to this.
Tobias, as a bird, only has two hours in morph. The Animorphs have the blue morphing cube.
Why didn't Tobias just morph into a human, lose the power to morph but have his own body, and then use the cube?
Am I missing something?

Yes you are. Once you become a nothlit you can't, at least with current Andalite technology, get the ability to morph again.
-
Thanks. I believe you, but do you know of where that is said?
-
It's indirectly mentioned in #8 and I believe Elfangor says it outright in the Andalite Chronicles.
-
Yea, for that to happen requires crazy higher dimensional beings such as the Ellimist.
-
yeah, took the words right out of my mouth, musicman.
nothlits cannot morph.
otherwise, Arbron would have morphed back a LONG time ago. nobody wants to be a taxxon, not even a taxxon.

nobody wants to be a taxxon, not even a taxxon.
I think THAT was fairly well proven by the end of the series.

I can't believe how often this question is asked (no offence intended).
As the others have already said, it is impossible for a nothlit to get the morphing power (unless you happen to know an omnipotent being who owes you a favour).
