In which books does Rachael morph into a lion? In which books does Jake morph into a bear? I ask because in the back of my copy of book 29 (The Sickness), I found an advertisement for the following Animorphs action figures: Rachael/Lion, Jake/Bear, Jake/Tiger, Cassie/Wolf, Tobias/Hawk, Marco/Gorilla. I hadn't recalled ever reading about Rachael morphing into a lion, or Jake becoming a bear, except for him becoming a polar bear during "The Extreme".

Rachel never morphed lion and Jake never morphed bear, double checked it on Seerowpedia.

Then why were the Hasbro toy company and Scholastic Inc advertizing a Rachael lion morph and a Jake bear morph in 1998? (I assumed that the people involved in the Animorph action figure project would have chosen the morphs by reading the Animorph books).

The TV show had Rachel morphing a line.
And the company did not care about accuracy. Hence Ax's scorpion morph.

The same way "one do" morph anything ::)

It was just for the transformer toys. They proably chose Lion for Rachel, because that was her main morph in TV series. The transformers toys were pretty dumb. They had one of Ax's "human morph" (Paulo Costanzo) morphing panther.
