Late in "The Secret", Cassie sprays Visser 3 with skunk scent. Could Visser 3 have gotten rid of the skunk scent molecues by morphing?
-
Assuming he could even concentrate on morphing, I'm not sure. It's like when Jake got sprayed by roach spray. I don't think the stuff really disappeared. It's just that roach spray can't harm a Human, so he survived by demorphing.

I don't think that smells would go to Z Space.

I don't know. Skunk musk is pretty darn powerful. It might be enough to cross dimensions. :XD:

lol :XD:, not even tomato juice can stop the multidimensional horror of skunk smell.

See, sending stinky skunk mass into Z-space would just spread it like a disease. With no tomato juice or anything, all the mass in there would start to stink. Eventually every time anyone morphed, they would smell of skunk musk. Indeed, this horror was narrowly averted.

That would have been both hilarious and horrifying...

I always thought the skunk scent wasn't part of him, just on him so even if he morphed the scent would stay on his body, like the spray.

The skintight clothing isn't part of the Animorphs, yet that goes to Z Space...
-
Yes, but that's because they imagine it as part of their body when they morph. Morphing has a lot to do with the mind.

So Visser 3 need only imagine that the skunk scent ISN'T part of his body, and it will be gone?

The skunk scent isn't a part of his DNA.
The clothing is a whole different thing.
