How are Yeerk wastes disposed of in the Yeerk pool?

How are Yeerk wastes disposed of when the Yeerk is in someone's head?

I think the first question is quite simple to answer: the same way as with fish :P

The second one, though, that actually sounds nasty...... xD

optomistically: The only feed every 3 days, maybe they only expel every three days


Realistically: Across the body wall, and let it be taken out by the host's body like other similar parasites

Well, yeerks are photosynthetic, so I wouldn't imagine they produce any kind of solid waste.  Plants on Earth produce gas, but we never hear about yeerks bubbling, so maybe not.  Maybe some kind of liq--

What if the numbing agent they produce IS their waste?

I imagine the Yeerk word dapsen is related to waste elimination, non-literally translated as '****'
