My name is Rachel. Just Rachel. But you can call me Touquie if you want. I'm hoping that we can be friends here. I'm really excited to be joining this great forum.

Ok, jk. Actually, my 10 month anniversary is coming up!

I'll just use this thread for when I go away for the weekend or something such as that.

So I'll be at my cottage until Sunday evening. Right now we're at the dentist. Technically my mom and brother are at the dentist. I'm sitting in the van.

So yeah. See you soon.

And I am the proud owner of my very own row boat. That's right, my parents bought me a row boat :P It was really random. I tried to name it 'The Boat of Doom,' but that didn't fly. Instead it's named after my grandfather.

I will be leaving Friday evening and I'll be back Sunday evening. I think there will be internet there so I'll probably check in, but I won't be spending as much time on RAF as normal.

Post by: Touquie on September 27, 2008, 04:24:30 PM: So I'm here at Blue Mountain :D It's really nice up here! This is usually a ski resort, but they also have summer activities. I really wanted to go mountain biking but it was quite expensive and I suppose it's dangerous.

Today we went to the driving range and I improved my swing.

...yep. There's a candy shoppe that I'm going to go raid later :)

So, Rachel, is there any chance you could work the other 1,002 kyouiku kanji (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyouiku_kanji) into your avatar? Thx. ;)

She is a member of the Audiobook project, however she does not voice Rachel. Terenia voices Rachel; Rachel voices Cassie. This is relatively straightforward.

However this is not:

Combat Squirrel is also known as Ken. Ken voices Tobias. Combat Squirrel does not voice Tobias. ANItiger, who, too, is also known as Ken voices Tobias. Except that everyone yells at him for not voicing Tobias. And there's AniDragon, on the project too, who has a Canadian accent. So does Rachel, but not that other, fictional Rachel (whom Terenia voices, remember?), who, as it happens should have some sort of Californian (or at least Western-US) accent. Except that Touquie-Rachel's accent is different from Anidragon's (but still Canadian). And then...

You know, when they said "check your sanity at the door," I didn't understand that it would be quite like this. ;D

And, that's just the Audiobook project.

Anyway, great to meet you, Rachel. Have you checked out the project board lately?

Well, this means I can come back, but I'm not sure if I will yet.

Priorities in my life have shifted and unfortunately, RAF has been knocked back.

I might post here and there, lurk around a bit. Who knows, I might get sucked back in. We'll see.

Sorry about my unannounced absence. I was in California for the past week and two weeks before that I was in Pennsylvania for 5 days.

I can't really say how often I'll be on at this point in time, but I'm hoping to check in every now and then.

So...anything drastic happen while I was gone?

EDIT: Just been going around this board...quite sad to see many from my RAFgeneration leaving...But...I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles. >.> no...I did not just say that.
