Title: Hallo! Wie gehts?

So I'm XenoFrobe.  Just finished the series about a month or two ago, loved it so much.  Now I need people to talk about it with, seeing as I can't convince my sister to read it.  So now I'm here.

I'm writing a bunch of fanfic, of which I'll probably post a chapter or two, and keep at it as I write.  It's an "after the end" type deal, starting with book #55 and continuing possibly up to book #60, with plans for a plot-integral Chronicles and a Megamorphs on the side.  I realize these kinds of fics aren't always the best, but I plan on keeping a good grip on the themes and respecting pre-existing plotlines as they stand.  No contriving to revive Rachel, no making Tobias magically forget all his worries and be happy forever, no ending on a bunch of high-fives and backslapping.  Those aren't my issues with the ending.  I just feel like pulling a new villain out of absolutely nowhere at the last minute, with no previous connection to existing plots whatsoever, solely to ambiguously kill off your cast is not the best writing technique. 

Rocks fall!  Everyone dies!

Anyway, yeah.  Love the series, love the characters, love the themes, love everything.

Hey, there, and welcome!  I'm DinosaurNothlit, also known as DN or Dino.  This fanfic series of yours sounds awesome; I'm not a fan of the 'and everyone gets a happy ending' fics, either.  Lol, but I think every single person who has read Animorphs has tried (either in their head or on paper) to revise the ending.  A good cliffhanger is great and all, but a bad one is terrible.  :P

Oh hey, DinosaurNothlit, I just realized I started reading your fanfic #55: The Difference a while ago.  It was actually the first Animorphs fanfic I read, pretty much immediately after finishing the series.  Found it through a panicked Google search to see if the end of #54 was in fact the actual end of the series, and I wasn't just confused.  I read in a fair bit, liked it, but then ended up losing the page and didn't finish.  That will be remedied now that I know where to find it.   :)

Hey, cool!  I'm glad you liked it!  :)

Which reminds me that I haven't written anything for my (planned trio of) Animorphs fanfics in forever.  I should at the very least finish off my #56.  Haven't posted anything in years, even though I've actually had the last couple chapters written for a long time now.  Just not totally proofread and polished.  Hehe.

Oh, yeah, I know the feeling.  All my original writing has been stalled for years, pretty much since I graduated high school.  I'm hoping I can actually complete this fanfic so I can say I finally have a full book under my belt.  At a grand total of 28K words across all the scenes and ideas I've written for this series, it's already longer than any other two projects I've taken on combined, so yeah.

Oh, cool!  Hi there.  My German is pretty basic and probably pretty terrible though, so don't expect much if I attempt it in the future.  XD
