Title: Some things my very talented friend made for me
Post by: Quixotica on July 10, 2014, 08:20:49 AM
I have a buddy who carves small wooden/acrylic beads and whatnot. They're mainly for us knife/flashlight/EDC enthusiasts. He made me a couple of things:

Andalite Hobo Nickel:

Andalite bead that fits on top of a small keychain flashlight:

Very nice! What tool(s) did he use to carve the first one?

I assume a dremel. That's his main tool of choice. Probably with an engraving bit.

I'm not criticizing, but the top picture looks like something you'd see in some sort of hieroglyph or something. But it is impressive, to say the least.

Mmmm. I love. Perhaps when I get back, I'll try to blacksmith an Andalite face.
