ok, so jtuttle in thread "Does anyone remember Ax's joke (http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=325.15)" thinks the audiobook project would be better if we used skype. Skype is a kind of instant messenger type thing which more than two people can talk at a time. according to him, skype is free and there's an english version...
so what do you guys think?

its more a problem of scheduling than or what software we use, its not really necessary for everyone to be together to do them, it is necessary for us to get going on this thing tho lol

Good point. Though I have a feeling it might make some of the conversations sound better, as you can actually hear each other. You don't necessarily need to use it for the entire thing.
Either way, I'm looking forward to the audiobooks...

Well it'd be hard for us all to be able to do it at the same time. at least for me.

Yeah... time does tend to be an issue.
Hmm... could always call the Ellimist; he might be helpful :-)

I think it's a great idea but I won't be able to do it. When I record my parts I have to read the lines faster than I want it to come out because it slows when I turn the pitch down to sound as deep as Visser.
-
I don't think it's necessary. People recording their own lines will work fine.
Besides, they've already tried Teamspeak (essentially the same) and it didn't work
-
Yeah, I work evenings, so I don't think I could easily get on at the same time as everyone.
Besides, everyone doing their parts individually and putting them together should work fine. It's how real voice acting and stuff is done, after all.

if you do this, it'll have to wait till august
cant do much without tobias ;)

well, jtuttle. there's your answer. apparently, skype isn't a solution.
