Perhaps the user name that your attempting to register is already registered.  Which is why I'm not "Cloaky" on there -- apparently someone was impersonating me.

I'm having a similar problem. I had an account "9/10" but I couldn't get in with that; it said my email was invalid when I tried to reset the password, so I'm assuming the account was deleted (inactivity?). I registered "Nine" but I'm not getting an email.
