Ignore threads to which you have replied in the past

Sorry if this question has already been asked, but is there a way for members to select specific threads to be omitted from their "Show new replies to your posts" page, even if they have replied to them in the past?

For example, if I didn't want to follow the RAF crush thread anymore, although I have contributed to it before, is there a way I can prevent it from showing up on the list every time there is a new reply?

You can always mark topics as unread. That's what I do after I've gone through all the topics I still post in. XD

Yeah, I do that, too. But the topics I like get buried under BB threads, I wasa BIG BB poster when I first started RAF, but I don't really care for it anymore. D: Honestly, it'd be worth making a new account and losing my post count all that if I could just get start over with the Unread Replies thing. Although, in a year or so, you can bet it'd be right back to the same. Lol.

Rich, is this an option? Or could it be...? *hands Rich 12 dollars* ... Wait, I need 10 for parking... *snatches ten* 2 dollars... Huh? 2 whole dollars...

Steph, a LOT of them. 90% of my unread replies are from the BB. Bored Board games go on forever, whereas actual discussion topics get buried or die. The reason they die, IMO, is because they get buried by games. Or, at least that's the way it seems. Don't get me wrong, I love the BB, I just prefer discussion topics. But, nothing better than a good old fashioned game of DESTROY THE OTHER PERSON!* at the end of a long day.

* Which is obviously every game.

Probably because I post outside of the BB more than I post inside it now, but at one point posted primarily within it (truth be told, that's the only place I posted when I first joined, 'cause I was nervous, and didn't want to post somewhere I wasn't supposed to. ), whereas you post primarily in the BB, so you don't mind having it spam you unread replies. Not that the BB is spam, at all, just couldn't think of another word.

Right, but I still spend more time out of the BB than you do. Allow me to direct you to our respective post counts. And most of the topics I ignore are BB topics.

Which I figured was the reason it doesn't count for posts.

Anyway... apparently that's really about all you can do.

if you want to completely ignore the thread, just don't view it after you've posted.
the 'new post' should migrate to the bottom of the list (leaving you with the ones you care about).

i see a few mods that might work, but we'll have to wait for the 2.0 update.

SMF 2.0 has been in Beta (etc) for about 3 years. I really don't know what's taking them so long.

Haha. General laziness? Damn developers. I've been waiting for Dexpot to update a feature for like...  2 and a half years now. There's never a guarantee for an update/add on for anything.

But, yeah, I'm with Park and Russ. I still use the feature, I just feel like like I'm out bushwacking. It drives me crazy, because the ONLY think on the first page is BB posts. But, I live with it, and BB is fun sometimes, I just would like to see my discussion threads, too. Lol.

What I used to do when I was checking threads stafflike: mark the BB read and then check unread threads feature.  This is an alright option...
