Very cool! ;D
-
That's awesome-sauce!
Oh, man, all of a sudden I'm possessed with the desire to make a dome ship to go with it. It's been soooo long since I've played with legos . . . they're all sitting down in my basement, collecting dust.
-
dude. do it.
-
you could use a Tupperware for the dome

Apologies for the crappy image quality, but my stupid camera wouldn't upload any of the pictures I took, so I had to take pictures with my webcam instead.

Check it out! It's not exactly to scale with the fighter, but I had just the perfect piece for the dome, so I had to build it to scale with that. Maybe I'll make a few itty bitty fighters to be to scale with it. And then I'll have to make a few bug fighters to fight with the Andalite fighters, and then of course I'll have to make a Yeerk pool ship to fight with the dome ship . . .
*goes back downstairs to play with legos some more*

That's really cool, DN! :D
-
Thanks, Genie!
I made more! The light's starting to fade (time flies when you're having fun, eh?), so they might be kinda hard to see, but I hope you can still get the jist.

The pool ship.

Andalite fighter (and I only used three pieces!)

The Blade ship.
I made a to-scale bug fighter to go with the Andalite fighter, but I didn't show it because it ended up looking like suck. Dang it, spaceships are hard to make to scale!

Rock on, Dino! Those are awesome! Where did all these awesome lego pieces come from?
-
Thanks!
Many, many years of birthdays and Christmases, that's where. My siblings and I used to be almost as obsessed with legos as I am with Animorphs. We've kind of grown out of it by now, but it's loads of fun to get stuff like that out again and play with it. It's like childhood all over again. :D
-
Those are amazing Dino! +1 :D
-
Yay, thanks for the karma! :D
Haha, I wasn't expecting so many compliments. I was just playing around.
-
I just played with Legos yesterday. They're currently in a 2-foot diameter pile on the floor. That's under half of them.
-
nice work.
now all we need to do is make some stop-motion animation with the legos. :)
-
yeah! that would be awesome.
oh man, i wish i could have some lego animorph ships!
-
I love you guys. Hardcore man.
-
Oh man, these are amazing. Great work, DN! I would totally make them have battles, hehe... XD
My Crayola Model Magic Bug fighter could go and play with your legos, if you wanted...x3

Tiny legos! Useful for making nerdy miniatures of alien spaceships! Hours of fun and only a minor choking hazard! ::)
...I kinda want to find some now, though... ;D

Yeah! Good idea! ... But I don't know how to do... Maybe something a little like the giraffe or a horse...
-
What about an origami Yeerk? That moves sort of like a squid when you squeeze it?
Yes please? ;D
Ooo, or an origami Hork-Bajir...once I made a Crayola model magic Yeerk but I can't find it. It's loose! And not in water! XD
-
lol Good luck if you try them! And post pictures if you succeed ;)
-
I love that lego!

Very cool one!!
