Oh yeah, lol. That was a great moment. Another one I thought of was simply

"GET! THAT! BUTTERFLY!"
Yeah, I remember that. Priceless.

I remember reading the AC, where Arbron gets trapped in morph. Elfangor telling him to come on and demorph, but arbron telling him that he can't, reminded me of the end of the first book. When Jake told Tobias to come on and demorph.

And when Ax killed that T-Rex. That was awesome.

Jara Hamee yelling "Free or die!" And for some reason, Jake and the Howler falling through the sky always stuck in my mind. And Tobias getting tortured. That was deep for me when I was in like 6th grade.
Until then we fight.

How about Jara Hamee slicing his skull open to show Tobias and Ax he didn't have a Yeerk in his head? Or when Jake said <You're kidding. His name is Jeremy?>

.

That was an awesome moment. I just want to include

Tobias: Did that scare the pee out of you, Ax-man?

Ax: I am as peeless as you, Tobias, my friend.

Also I enjoyed the #30 when Marco put in everything he had and charged at his mom to knock her off the mountain.

Visser One (smiles): I know you, don't I?

Marco: I am an Andalite warrior.

Visser One: No. Andalites don't make jokes. Let alone popular human culture references. No, you're human. And...someone I once knew. Long ago, maybe. But someone I knew.

I froze when i first read that part. Visser One was one very sly b**tch, and there was a lot of emotion in that scene.

Marco: I love you (charges)

Visser One (amazed): The boy! It's the boy!

And we all know how it ends...

Yeah, those were all great, amazing moments. Especially the one that sounds like Jara is prophesying the title of the next Die Hard movie. ;)

Another one I like is when Rachel scares the piss out of the elephant keeper at the zoo.  >:D

Let us not forget when we harken back to the David trilogy (yes harken), that they stomped the living daylights out of the housing of all the world leaders.
On free or die: I think Jara Hamee just wanted his New Hampshire drivers license

Speaking of which, I never figured out which President it was that was drunk as hell when Rachel came charging through his bungalow.

I'd like to think it was Bush, but was he even Prez at the time the book came out? Although he was an alcoholic at one point in real life...

Okay, for one, Clinton was President at the time.

Secondly, it was one of the foreign leaders who was drunk, not-so-subtly hinted at being the Russian President.

Then Im impressed that Rachel even recognized or even knew the name of the other foreign leaders.

Why?  She was the academic of the group...

If anyone recognized him it'd most likely be her or Marco, who were the ones present.

Really? Rachel was the academic one? I'm not disputing you, I just can't remember that being said right now. You're probably right though, now that I think about it.

It's said on two or three occasions throughout the books that Rachel gets the best grades/is an honor student/whatever.  Plus those scenes where she's actually doing homework at the meetings while the others are goofing off etc.

Further evidence to dispute the "Rachel was a dumb angry vicious berserker" fan idiocy.

Marco would probably be as "intelligent", and Cassie too.  But Marco doesn't apply himself, and Cassie has the whole rehabilitation clinic thing keeping her busy.  Jake's an average Joe mediocre schmuck, and Tobias is a dreamer.

But yeah, if anyone was paying attention in junior high history class, it was Rachel.

True, you're right. However most junior high students, no matter how intelligent unless they were prodigy's, wouldn't recognize another nations leader. HOWEVER, Rachel had more reason than most to care about who the leaders were, especially in this case. So I can believe it.

These days, maybe.  Kids ten years ago weren't retards.
