This should be interesting. A few of the webcomic authors I follow do livestreams of their drawing, so people can watch the whole process while chatting with him/each other. I figured it might be kinda cool to try this for the audiobooks. I just got the last recording done and on my computer for Chapter 9, which is a pretty production-heavy chapter. So it should be pretty exciting.
The stream will be at justin.tv/jrandomhacker starting at 8:00 PM CST (that's UTC 02:00) on Saturday the 10th. Hopefully we get a decent-sized group.

It should record so you can watch later, and I can move it if people would prefer some other time as a whole. I just picked a time, and by then I should have enough room in the school's data cap so I can stream the whole thing without my internet choking and dying.

It's a simple error.

A fix in your code may look like;

Apparently without the leading http://, SMF automatically assumes I'm trying to link elsewhere on the forum and automatically adds the beginning part. If I do format the link correctly, it auto-embeds my (empty) channel page, then displays a message about how I didn't pay, so I can't embed. Non-clickable link it is then.

Website isn't very ps3 friendly and I'm not forking over 5 dollars to buy their app so I can watch it on my phone. Hopefully I can watch it at a later date.

Here's the archive of the broadcast for later watching. 'Twas a fun experience, and I'll probably do another next time there's a complex chapter. Hopefully we get some more audience interaction. Chapter should be posted shortly.

Oh, I was expecting you to talk, Mr Guy. xD I thought my speakers were blown when there was complete silence for the first 11 minutes until you played a track. I think a major improvement for next time is if you spoke about what you were doing. =P

Yup, I'm not sure if I can stream with my mic and the audio itself at the same time. Also, if I do the next chapter while I'm home, I'll be broadcasting in much much higher resolution.

Well Duff should be emailing me chapter 11 shortly, so I'll be doing another one of these. I'd prefer not to wait for the weekend, so perhaps Tuesday night or somesuch? What weeknights work for you guys? If there isn't any strong objection, I'll pencil it in for Tuesday night.

Well Duff accidentally emailed me the wrong thing, and he hasn't gotten back to me. Also I might have something Tuesday night. So perhaps it'll end up being Wednesday. I'll keep everyone up to date.

Alright, setting the time for 8:00 PM CST (2AM GMT) Wednesday night. Should be a good one. For some reason, Slushie's lines kept cutting off, so you guys get to watch me do reconstructive surgery. I might do chapter 12 too if I have the time. Hope to see you guys there.

How long do these sessions normally last? I may not be able to attend.

Welp I forgot what day it was... The stream will be Wednesday night. And the last one went about an hour fifteen, but some of that was me fiddling around waiting for people to show up, and it was a more involved chapter. I should be able to get through a single chapter in 45 minutes-ish.
