The Tale of the Walkaway Girl

Prologue

Dr. Cassandra Nikolavich
Project: 'Wonderland'
Audio log dated 04-20-10

It's all gone wrong.

In reality we shouldn't be at all surprised, as this entire project only exists because we believed ourselves to be masters of our creations. Arrogant really. We should have known better. These other worlds may have been created by man, but creation and control are two very separate things. As of this recording of the most viral strands studied in Section Z have already begun spreading. In their attempts to gain food, the infected have already begun destroying the neighboring sections, releasing some of the more dangerous specimens we have collected.

The measures intended to prevent the specimens from escaping the facility have all failed due to the various unique abilities found in several of the subjects. This means it is only a matter of time before these things reach the world at large, perhaps sooner than we anticipated if my readings are correct. In which case several rifts have been created around the planet and are putting out matter pulled at random.

*Scraping sounds and moaning are heard in the background of the recording*

It seems my time is running out, as is likely the case for the rest of the planet. For whoever gets this message, there is hope left. In our studies of these worlds we came across one vary unique individual. She may be the key to reversing this entire-

Damn, the class fours are here. I'm out of time. Our only chance lies with her, a woman named Sarah-Jayne Miller. Find her-

I have brought on the end of days. Whatever force behind creation, please forgi-

I'm resurrecting this fic! I had kind of thrown it away, but I have this crazy idea and if I plot it out it may just work. Maybe...

Wow, I completely forgot about this! I honestly don't even remember commenting! I'm so glad you're continuing it though, this sounds AWESOME! From what I can guess from the prologue, it's vaguely similar to a story a worked on years ago, but it's hard to say at the moment.

I'm all for crazy ideas, look forward to seeing where this goes.  :)

This sounds cool! Very Resident Evil-esque.

Except instead of a virus, it's fictional characters. I am working on this, but it's a complicated endeavor and I want more of a plan then 'Apocalypse by multiple crossover'.
