favorite animorphs book?
« on: December 21, 2010, 01:16:57 AM »
i've seen a similar thread, but i decided that a poll might be nice. (*whew* that took a long time. :XD:)
since we have to many to choose from, i think up to 3 favorite books seems reasonable.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Animorphs_books

i'm guessing that we won't see too many alternamorphs

You have no idea how hard it was to limit myself to just three :/
And in that moment, I swear we were infinite.

25, I think.

Edit: #3, #27, Andalite Chronicles.

#3 because it was my first Animorphs book, #27 because I like all the Rachel/Tobias stuff, Andalite Chronicles... for personal reasons. :P

andalite chronicles seems to be doing pretty well :)
i wish i could have voted for #19 and #29 - ironically both cassie books. :(

at least we got the buffahuman and kangaroo books to counteract those.

Like Visser One isn't totally the best Yeerk villain* in the whole series. Also, mommy angst.

*Possibly the best villain, IDK where I rank David but he's a pretty good foil to the team.

#5, & #45, because of  *cough* a certain character...*sigh* I"ll never grow out of that crush. Not that I'd want to...
And In the Time of the Dinos, because, well, dinosaurs...*thinks about what she's done* Wow...I've managed to out-nerd myself.

I've only recently started rereading them as I haven't since middle school... but #26 because of Jake and Cassie's kiss, might seem trite, but I was always a sucker for those two. And then #5 because of the revelation of Marcus' mother, and #4... though for that one, I don't have a definite reason as to why. I just always liked that one.

The Beginning, because that was the book that made me realize how much I loved the series. My other two favorites are The Diversion and The Andalite's Gift, mostly for the car chase, which MAKES the book. I could reread it over and over.

18 for sure. I love it when they go to different worlds, but the Leeran home world was described beautifully. Not to mention the story had that movie quality about it. A small team of spies (essentially) get employed by one side of two dueling factions who is desperate enough to use them despite knowing that their only hope is racing against their own Z-space clock and all hope will be lost if they can't accomplish their mission in time.

It made for a crazy exciting book.
