Well, I am a Hork Bajir.  I was once a Hork Bajir controller, but not anymore, unfortunately. Well, it's actually a very interesting story.  One day I was just hanging out, collecting some tree bark, enjoying the weather, when my friend James took me to a Yeerk pool.  Of course he told me he was taking me to meet a lady Hork Bajir who had a bit of a crush on me.  But by the time I knew something was wrong, my head was already being shoved into the pool and a yucky Yeerk swam into my brain. The Yeerk and I quickly became friends though, because as he was digging into my mind he saw that we actually had a lot in common.  For instance, we both love baseball! So we decided to make a deal.  I would let him stay inside my head as long as I could do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, but not give up the secret of the Yeerk invasion in the process.  Was that a bad idea?  Well, he was pretty cool, and,  I mean, the guy was just a helpless little Yeerk after all.  And he was my friend!!! So I never told anyone.  Needless to say, I pretended to be controlled from then on out, always going to the Yeerk pool every 3 days, and this all lasted for a good while until old age kicked in for the Yeerk.  He wanted to die at peace in a lake, so I bent down in front of it, let him slide into the lake, and it was the last I ever saw of him.

I still miss him, and I still find myself crying a lot when I think about him.  That little slimy Yeerk turned out to be my best friend in all the world. So, please, cut the Yeerks some slack.  If you discriminate against them, just remember, they're not all bad!

Spartan 281 - I'm not really sure if I'd be a really good RPer or not.  I've never actually done that, to be frank.  I do love coming up with stories though, which isn't too totally different.  I'll check that out and see if it's something I'd like to participate in.  Thanks for the recommendation!

Dameg - I have a scanner, but i'm not sure where it's at at the moment.  Used it when I had a PC desktop, but now i'm on a Mac laptop. I can probably find it with a little searching though.  Where should I go to find out full details on what is needed?

It just takes practice, man. When I first started, I broke every rule possible. You just have to read others' posts and emulate their writing styles. I would suggest reading http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,3641.0.html if you want some tips on story telling. Finding an RP that has a good example of battle RP is difficult, you can check out http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,1984.210.html there's a good example of battling and OOC (Out Of Character) posts.
