Here's a Taxxon that I did in 3D class. If I ever get around the fixing the animation, I'll post that as well, but for now, here's just the Taxxon:

I was digging through my files, and found the animation again. It still needs some work, mostly on the timing, but I thought I'd post a couple of the key frames to show you.
WARNING: Cannibalism. Which should be obvious, since we're dealing with Taxxons, but I'm covering my butt so that you don't wine and complain that I didn't warn you.

I'm not sure why the last two screenshots are so tiny. They're all supposed to be 800x600. Stupid Photobucket.

DUDE! This is really cool!
How long ago did you do this? Did you use Maya?
-
That looks really good. It looks alot like how Taxxons are described, with very soft skin.

Okay, this is awesome...again. I think I said that before on the other forum, but those key screen shots are GREAT!

I did this... About half a year ago, I think? A little longer, maybe...
It was done in 3D Studio Max. I'm afraid I'm not as skilled at modeling in Maya (although I'm better at texturing in Maya).

This is actually very good, I like it. I haven't used 3D Studio Max since my film class in high school. It's a cool program, but I never got the chance to work on it to bring up my learning curve cause I had a very bad computer at that point. Never tried Maya, though I've heard that's really good too.

I find Maya is a lot better for texturing, but I preffer Max for modeling.
