I think the Media Board should either be its own board or a child board of General.  I don't like the idea of segregating movies, music, etc.

I also don't agree with having fanfic in General, but that doesn't affect me as I don't read those ^^;

The Media Board isn't active enough to need sub-sections. I know General Fanfiction wasn't hugely active either, but that's because people tend to take a while between story updates, which is why we need a board for it as people won't be able to find their story threads in General.

Richard has agreed to bring back the General Fanfiction Board, which will hopefully be appearing again later today. We will then need to move all the old threads back, so PM me with the name of your story (and preferably the link) so I can move them back.

do the roleplaying and fanfic boards really need to be subboards of general? they just seem completely unrelated imo and clumping them all together like that seems to just be confusing

They really don't need to be. That being said, I think it does make that category look more tidy.

Yea I guess I don't agree that they are the same category. They both have the word general in them, aside from that there isn't really any similarities. Alot of the people who visit the general board don't use the other two at all and vice versa.

But like Claire said, maybe it will just take some getting used to. I definitely see your reasoning on it, you don't want the general section so large that it overshadows the Animorphs section and all that good stuff.
