*Tom has the Dracon and the blue box in hand. Jake in tiger morph gets ready to pounce, but Cassie bites down on his wound, stopping him.*

Tom: Whoohoo! *Runs away*

Jake: What did you do that for?
Cassie: I can't let you do it. I can't make you kill your own brother.

Tom: *Still audibly crashing through the woods a short distance away* I got the cube! Whohoo, morphing power!

Jake: But now he'll give that morphing power to the other Yeerks!
Cassie: I thought of that. But in the end I couldn't let you destroy yourself in this way.

Tom: *A little bit distant but not exactly running the four minute mile here* I can't believe my luck! This will get me in with Visser One for sure!

Jake: Dammit Cassie. I'm so angry with you right now.
Cassie: I know and I understand if you don't want to talk about it.

Tom: *Just a teensy bit further away* Where the hell am I? I am so lost.

Jake: *sigh* I guess there's nothing left to do but rejoin the others and tell them the bad news.
Cassie: Are you going to tell them I did it?

Tom: *You get the idea by now* Frick. I'm going to need a Yeerk pool soon too.

Jake: No. We need to function as a team and I think the others will be pretty sore at you if I let them know what you did.
Cassie: I understand that too.

Tom: *Voice is slowly becoming faint as Cassie and Jake demorph to human, remorph to birds and fly away* Man, I wish I had a cellphone or some otherway to contact the Yeerks. Now that I think about it, it was rather short sighted not to bring some back up in case I get hurt or something.

Hahahahaha I've wondered about that as well. and IDK, I think it'd have to be a morph that's larger than the tampon, since we know what happened when they tried to morph smaller with the shark brain-chips.

That's one option, but then why didn't the brain chip go? I don't think it works quite the same way with objects inside the body.

It's possible the answer lies when the brain chip was only installed ie whilst already in morph. Maybe objects like morphing suits "disappear" or are stored only when you start morphing from your original body. Reverting back to your original body you can't take anything with you.

Back on topic:
Jake and Marco are in a comic book/magazine store
Marco: Jake! Jake! Guess what?
Jake: Yeah?
Marco: Free stuff!
*Stuffs a few comics in his pockets and heads to the store toilet*
Jake (hisses): Marco what are you doing? Marco?
*Goes to knock on the door*
Marco: If we slip the comics under our morphing suits and stuff our non-morphing clothes in the ventilation duct and then morph to get out of here we should be able to demorph in Cassie's barn with the comics!
*Jake thinks about this for a second*
Jake: Be right back!
*Goes back to the shop and returns shortly*
Jake (grinning): Lets do this!
Both morph into small birds and escape through the ceiling window and fly to Cassie's barn. Arriving at the barn in their excitement they both demorph. The morphing suits didn't materialise with the comics.
Cassie's dad: Cassie! Just releasing the fox- Jake? Marco?
*Casse's dad peers over the haystack*
Cassie's dad: Is that porn?!!?

anyways, ive always said its a question of complexity and knowing exactly what the object looks like (which explains how andalites can morph with their translator chips)  speaking of...

Not true.  Tobias and Ax were both able to wear morphing suits in their human morphs, which should have disappeared every time they demorphed according to your theory.

What's more likely is that the brain chip was made of some special material that couldn't be morphed away.  That could have even been a safety precaution against Andalites sneaking into their facility as sharks and then morphing anything small for spying, although given how few Yeerks noticed the birds of prey flying around their underwater facility (seriously, I don't care if most people don't spend much time looking up, if a bird of prey flies over your head in an indoor area, YOU NOTICE), that's incredibly unlikely.  So it was probably just a fluke of some kind.  Perhaps the chips are linked to the facility's transmitters through z-space (which makes sense since the Yeerks use z-space for most of their communication), and since they're wired through z-space already they don't actually go into z-space when morphing occurs, instead maintaining their connection to real space.
